I am still trying to understand the purpose of the article. It was so short, I assumed that I had to click a button to read the rest of it. He starts with a premise that trolls think they can beat WNBA players. He has two quick quotes from one WNBA and one college practice squad guy. Then, the article just ends. Is the goal to convince the public that the best female basketball players in the world are so good that they can beat average, amateur males? Congrats?

An old roommate at LSU was on the team of guys that played against the LSU women, and this is back when they were going to the Final Four every year.
The guys were just rec level players and beat them basically every time.

I would think most men’s college players could beat the best women in the world. Serve and return being most of difference, but also they just work the ball more.

We put together a team of 8 guys and a "keeper" to play a local D2 women's soccer team when I was a senior.
We beat them 4-0. They won their conference and were nationally ranked.

To be fair, it looks like he was a decent Div II basketball player about 10 years ago.
His senior year he averaged 3.9 pts per game in 22.4 minutes per game and had a fg% of 31% at DII Post College.
He was horrific.
And I have no idea why he's credited as some great assist guy. He averaged 2.6 assists per game.
And now it's a decade later so he probably sucks even worse, and he's able to compete with WNBA players on the practice squad.
Think about how shitty they must be.

We have two guys who played low level college football and three (including myself) mediocre at best high school players and I’m pretty confident we’d run them off the court

yeah one of our guys walked on for LSU basketball and our center almost walked on at LSU for QB

I just learned that the WNBA uses a ball that is 1 inch smaller than the men's ball. I'm gonna guess that makes a good amount of difference.
