don't worry, neither did the guys who posted that

if you played any level of HS ball 3A and above in Louisiana then you prolly saw 90+ with movement atleast 3-4 times a year. If you have a teammate that can hit that then you see it alot more.

Without a doubt, boxing. I played a lot of sports and the level of conditioning needed to do well in boxing is off the charts compared to just about any other.

Edited to add this:

Like others have mentioned, golf. Not physically taxing, but so damn frustrating at times it will make you want to toss the clubs in the water--------But, that nice birdie and a couple long pars will make you want to come back the next day as you see light at the end of the tunnel----and it's usually an oncoming train loaded with bogeys the next round.

its estimated only 5% of high school pitchers throw 90+. I think its less likely than you think.

No, I don’t understand. I play real sports, I’m not trying to be the best at exercising…

I coached 2A-3A high school baseball in Louisiana for 16 years. In that entire time, I saw no more than five pitchers throwing 90+ with movement.

I was a fringe D1 baseball player. Got hurt and ended up with only NAIA offers. Baseball is the hardest sport to play from a talent level. Tons of hand-eye coordination needed. There is a reason a lot of those guys can jump on a golf course and be good without ever playing. Football is the most difficult mentally. When there is a head hunting Safety on the field, everyone knows where he is.

well we had one on my team every year i was there. my freshman year we had 1 senior and 1 junior that could. by sophomore year we had 1 soph and a senior that could.

Barbe has 4 right now that can. Sulphur has 2. Sam Houston has 1 or 2 also.

i didnt say it was common though as i know the high school i played at doesnt have anyone close. What i am saying is when the playoffs role around you see it a couple times.

I was pretty good at a lot of sports: football, basketball, hockey, soccer, martial arts. The two things I was never really good at were baseball/softball and tennis. I just couldn't get very interested in either one. I plain sucked at tennis, which was kinda odd because I was really good at badminton.

Wrestling. Especially against an opponent better than you. I don’t know if there is a more physically exhausting sport.

Ummm - no. What you think is 90 is more like 84-85.

I picked up Raquetball again after a 10 year hiatus. Additional 10 pounds too. That was brutal.

I played all the major sports growing up, ran track & CC in high school and in college, raced mountainbikes for several years post college, did triathlons....and without a doubt, racing road bikes was the most difficult sport. Unless you've done it, you don't realize how fast a pack (peloton) is going and everyone is jockeying for position, physically leaning into you to get on the wheel of the guy in front all at 30+ mph while also in oxygen debt with your lungs and legs burning.

I was in a Rec Lacrosse league in my twenties and one of my teammates talked me in to playing Rec Hockey with him.

Hockey is really, really, really, REALLY, fricking hard.

I played high school football, basketball, and track and I also play golf and hockey is waaaaaayyyy harder than all of them.

wrasslin in HS

those 3 minute periods lasted forever, especially when some one has you mangled like a pretzel, and no way out. Ur begging for the buzzer, and it ain't coming.

I played 4 years of HS football, Baseball, and 2 of Basketball, 1 of wrasslin.

Trust me, as bad as you feel at golf, you are actually that bad at those other sports as well

Yeah. I don't think people realize the athletic and skill gap between the NBA and the average player. A bench player from the NBA would absolutely destroy even marginal college players not good enough for the league.
