What makes it a great game?

Posted by sms151t on 4/29/25 at 5:48 pm
When discussing great games, what is it that makes the game so great?

Is it the ending? The teams, the matchups? What is your definition of a great game?

Would the GMAC Bowl, where ECU and Marshall set the scoring record, be a great game? Would the 9-6 gam e be great? Is watching a lesser-talented team(s) play perfect great?

What is your opinion?

To me, the 5 best games I have ever watched are (not in order)

Arkansas-Alabama SEC Semifinals at the BJCC in 81/92
Rams Chiefs MNF at the Coliseum
Chiefs Broncos @ Mile High, the Montana comeback
Suns Spurs Game 1 Duncan Barkley game
The Giants Angels game 5, 5-run comeback

Honorable Mention
Chiefs Oilers WC Kerry Cash throws the ball against the Buddy Ryan poster
A's Yankees Zito throws a two-hitter and loses, the Jeter play
So like legit is Florida’s Finest going to be here tonight?
Serious question

Did the Law Tigers and Morris Bart sign off on this McAfee match

Looky there win the title and become the sleepin Samoan
I’ll take the SS General over the punter
Gunther is what 38 years old and in his prime?

The Aussie going to be rebellious person
I thought he was going to say when he dies he can be buried upside down so they can kiss his arse

Like our greatest coach in American history
Robert Montgomery Knight
Cole legitimately deserved that because he talked shite and couldn’t back it up. Pat tried but he’s a Punter.
Wishn no I send my minions like Fus and G to take the punishment

I just count stacks play with flaps and rewrite the map
That Muslim Canadian will go to Friday if he knows what’s good for him

Kinder KO and Nats ain’t here to protect him
Lands on back grabs tummy

That’s some Beavis and Butthead level acting and knowledge of anatomy
So Fus is saying he’d fight

I’ll be nice

Fus I was in Lafayette this weekend
I have learned five things today.

1. Foreigners with weird hair diseases talk funny

2. Mexicans are allowed to attack US citizens

3. Iyo is a hawt asian, yet G has not accomplished his research to prove our hypothesis.

4. Cole is a schmuck still

5. G and Wishn run a thread much better than the cocksucker rt3.
That dirty Mexican attacked Chad!! Send him back!!!
What state are they in?

Confusion? Delusion? Paranoia? Kansas?
So the enemy got an enema? Or are they an enigma? I cannot understand these foreigners with that weird hair disease
See how pigmentally superior wimmenz accept responsibility
I am sure the answers in this thread will be very diverse. To me, any of the four tenors. Then, some could argue Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, George Jones, and George Strait are probably the top of the list as well.

What is your opinion?
Would India and Pakistan start lobbing nukes at each other? Is this issue limited to Kashmir, or has something else escalated?

What is today's "prototypical" QB?

Posted by sms151t on 4/28/25 at 1:36 pm
Traditionally, the ideal quarterback has been perceived as someone between 6'2" and 6'5" tall. He had remarkable poise in the pocket, effortlessly making precise throws on 15 to 12-yard comeback routes from the opposite or far hash. Speed was not a big measure of effectiveness; even those who don’t hit under 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash can excel. Then the Elway, Vick, and Luck unicorns showed up and changed the perception.
