I just got back from reddit & the
/soccer & /world cup subs are like a beehive. I've never seen so many people angrily making bad arguments and ignoring fact after fact. If trolling is your thing, it's very entertaining
Surprisingly, pro-American takes are rising through the bullshite too.

Trump claiming that he made a call isn't exactly helping but yeah it's pretty wild how hard some of them are melting especially when Ronaldo and Messi have benefited from much more FIFA bullshite

I mean those people already HATE the US in general anyway. Quite a few of them were among those that wanted the WC to be a huge failure here
Lots of typical “no healthcare, school shooting, laughing stock, etc” comments they always love to throw out anytime the US comes up or even if no one asks

And even more asinine is the fact that the refs incorrectly used VAR in the first place to even give the bs red.
Ref didn’t even call it on the field

All of this gnashing of teeth was completely avoidable if FIFA does the right thing and overturns the suspension WITHIN 24 HRS of it being given. None of the facts in the incident have changed. They’ve opened themselves up to all of this by waiting until today to make the decision.

It was 1-1 at half before we started putting in subs and messing with the bench players to see who was worth a damn.
