Zero Money.
Manager is as good as gone.
Sad times for Liverpool FC.
Will they be able to hold on to Torres? He shouldn't be wasting his golden years at a club in such bad shape.

Eh. I find Liverpool to be the least obnoxious of the Big Four. Though I did enjoy it when any of them suffers, especially Man U. No luck on that front yet.

I would hate to be in their position, but honestly F*** em. They deserve it. I don't think there is a soccer team on the planet that I despise more. Thankfully Chelsea have taken to whipping their rear ends lately.

I find the opposite to be true, especially through my various sojourns through the Albion. I despise most English teams, but I find nothing more deplorable than Liverpool fans. They are the same as any other, but because they sing a stupid song, they think they are "better" for it. Laughable.

Well, part of my hatreds are informed by being a Leeds fan (yeah, I know). So F#%@ Man U. And F#%@ Chelski, those free-spending bastards (yes, I'm jealous). I have to decide who I hate less, Liverpool or Arsenal. Normally, that's Liverpool just because the other three hate them so much, so they can't be all bad. The enemy of my enemy and all that.
I've been without an EPL team for almost a decade. I basically just root for Aston Villa (Friedel!), Fulham (Demsey!), and (gulp) Sunderland (fellow Northerners who have the decency to hate Newcastle).

Well that's certainly understandable. But in my experience, Liverpool (at least since 1989) and Newcastle (since 1996), have the most obnoxious fans. I suppose I could best describe it as an inherent sense of entitlement, and a certain feeling of superiority that is a by-product of that entitlement. Discussing football with each is a fruitless endeavor that now I only smile politely until I can disengage myself from their plebeian patois.
