The only place in the world that Torres will go if he leaves Liverpool would be back to Spain.

I'd be doubtful that he'd even play at Real seeing as his relationship with them after playing at Atletico is not great. I don't know that whole dynamic, but I wouldn't bet on it.

yeah chelsea needs a smaller/faster striker to pair up with drogba

Torres is too similar to Drogba to pair them together.

Man City would be a fit, but he won't be sold inside the PL.

I'm getting sick even talking about this.

i doubt atletico could afford him

unless ronaldo or kaka has something against torres, i just don't see a fit financially and in terms of opportunity

I've been telling you for a long time that I hate Rafa Benitez. Hope LFC keeps him on for a while.

you're underestimating how much money Bayern Munich has. look at their roster.

He spent 20 mil on Aquilani as our piece to replace Alonso, and then sits him outside of 5 minute cameos in extra time

Aquilani is still coming back from his injury although i agree he needs to be brought into a bigger role now, when he comes back he should fill the Alonso role a 1000x bette rthan Lucas can as his range of passing is just what Liverpool need.

If Torres leave it wont be to another English side, the Italian league doesnt have the money involved like it did 10 years ago otherwise AC Milan would be brutal with him and Pato up to, Barca are seemingly set with using 3 of Ibra,Messi,Henry, Bojan. And th eonly other team at the moment with enough cash would be Real Madrid, which is a serious possibility considering the monumental floop that Benzema has been(called it from day 1 :D ) so if they sell him they can have a spott open for him.

there's no way they could.

Real and Barca are probably the only teams outside of the PL that could.

And there's no way Bayern could. If they could, they'd be in on the much bigger names in Europe.

i think they'd have to sell off one or their expensive pieces

the german league was THIS close to bankruptcy only 2-3 years ago

they have money, but i don't know if they could just pay out almost 100M euros for 1 guy

Jesus, are you this dense? He won't go to Real because he played for Atletico. If he does, then it will be one of the shocks of the century.

2 months now he's been healthy. 2 fricking months. I can understand sitting him against Everton. But Portsmouth, Birmingham? Jesus.

I think Lucas has been quality this season. Or at least way better than I and most everyone originally rated him but, he hasn't been what we've needed.

I don't know if AA will be the answer but he sure seems to make sense as the missing piece to what we're looking for. Creative passing, good technical skill and some inventiveness. With Gerrard, Torres and maybe N'Gog in front of him, there's damage to be done.

Bayern has Schweinsteiger, Ribery, Robben, Klose, Luca Toni, and Mario Gomez. Those players aren't exactly low tier players.

you're right. But none of them are upwards of 90 million pounds by themselves.

Also, they weren't exactly bought at the top of their value.

Bayern is one of the best run clubs in the world. Absolutely efficient. If he wanted to go there, and there would be some assurance that Torres would be able to repay them through play, then they would be able to fork over the money easily. You underestimate how much money they have. Just because they choose to be financially strong, and not spend inordinate amounts of money does not mean they do not have the capability to spend that amount of money.

While this is true, again you underestimate how rich Juventus actually is. They would have to sell some players, but they could afford it.

nobody is saying bayern lacks talent or guys who are valuable

however how much did bayern pay for all of those guys combined? 60M? maybe 70M?

You moron.

Toni-11 million Euros or 15 million dollars
Robben-25 million Euros or 35 million dollars
Gomez-30 million Euros or 42 million dollars
Ribery-25 million Euros or 35 million dollars
Klose-undisclosed but since he was bought by Bremen for 5 million Euros, I would have to guess he was around 20 million Euros or 28 million dollars
Podolski-10 million Euros or 14 million dollars
Schweinsteiger-Youth Academy product
Lahm-Youth academy product

So right there from all the guys you mentioned, Bayern payed 155 million dollars. Even without Klose, whose fee was undisclosed, that is around 120 million. But you're right, Bayern has no money.
