Auburn beating Bama on the last second missed kick return. Could've sworn that happened a few years ago. Man, time flies.

Maybe doesn’t feel quite like a decade ago but it definitely feels like more than 5 years ago, for sure.

I too remember it like it was six months ago.. Also, its funny what you recall about certain things, i remember them breaking into the game announce that the actor who was in those Fast and Furious movies, Paul Walker, had been killed in a car accident.. not a fan of those movies but that was kinda crazy .. then it was back to the game and the pick six .

I was there! What a night! Saw Anthony Jennings lead LSU to a comeback victory against Arkansas on Friday, sped over to the Baton Rouge bus station on government immediately after the game. Took a bus to montgomery overnight. Had my high school friend at Auburn pick me up at like 3 am. Crashed in her spare room for a few hours. Caught gameday in auburn that morning, tailgated. Caught the game, stormed the field, then partied all night until I had to make the whole trip in reverse.

Was a very college sophomore/freshman type of night

ETA: I still maintain I may be one of a few people alive to see two field goals taken back for a touchdown. Odell had the one against UAB earlier in the season. Because of that, as soon as Chris Davis hit like his own 5 I was in stunned silence because I knew he was going all the way.

Not a fan of either Auburn or Alabama, but I can specifically remember watching it, the restaurant I was at, the people with me, and our reactions.

Went out that night after game and got drunk as hell at Clermont Lounge and brought home some skank and fricked her over and over. That game is one of Saban’s biggest failures. I was damn near suicidal

I turned the tv off, walked to the backyard, sat next to the fire and said WTF just happened for about 3 hours.

Between witnessing this and the Hail Mary to beat UGA two weeks prior in person, I felt I had ascended to peak sports fandom and that nothing would ever top those moments.

Thing I love the most is that regulation had actually ended, but Saban wanted a review because he thought there should have been a second left on the clock when the Bama player when out of bounds on the previous play. They got one second put back on the clock, and the rest is history.
