Idk if people used the word “Sham” for a hilarious fake ripoff before that race but I bet they did after

The term upset allegedly comes from a horse.

But this is very unfair to Sham. That horse was elite, he just ran against the GOAT.

1. Evel Knievel jumping the fountains at Caesars Palace. (If it was on Wide World of Sports it was a sporting event.)

2. Any Grand Prix of Monaco held before the technology made the circuit obsolete.

3. Any German Grand Prix held at the old Nuremburgring track.

Miracle on Ice. There is not a close second, IMO.

October 21st, 1975. Cus' it was game six of the World Series. Biggest game in Red Sox history.

Oh it was an amazing game, though. You know, bottom of the 8th Carbo ties it up at a 6-6. It went to 12. Bottom of the 12th, in stepped Carlton Fisk. Old Pudge. Steps up to the plate, you know, and he's got that weird stance. And BAM! He clocks it. High fly ball down the left field line! Thirty-five thousand people, on their feet, yellin' at the ball, but that's not because of Fisk. He's wavin' at the ball like a madman. He's going, "Get over! Get over! Get OVER!" And then it HITS the foul pole. OH, he goes apeshit, and 35,000 fans, you know, they charge the field, you know?

—How is a baseball team “one sporting event”?
Anyway, I would want to witness Lou Gehrig’s “Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth”

Cubs vs Indians Game 7. I would love to be there in person to see the Cubs win the World Series.

Auburn student section for kick 6
I can confirm that and the hail Mary two weeks before we’re the wildest couple weeks of my collegiate experience. Good answer and I’m sorry you missed out.

As for me, I’m going to nominate a few:

- Hank Aaron’s 715th HR.
- September 30, 1932 where Gehrig and Ruth hit 2 HR’s in game 3 of the WS against the Cubs in Chicago. Ruth called his shot in this game.
- Red Sox v Yankees 1952: DiMaggio versus Ted Williams
- July 10, 1953: Ben Hogan wins the British Open to be the first to win all 3 majors in the same year.
- 1997 Masters

2007 LSU-Auburn would be up there for me just due to nostalgia being with my dad and seeing Flynn to Byrd. But ultimately, it would be between LSU/Bama 2019 or Warren Morris

I was not in the student section, but in the upper deck with AU and Bama fans for the Kick Six game and it was the best college football game that I have ever attended. If you choose this one to go back in time and witness you would not be disappointed.
