If you could go back in time and witness one sporting event live, what would it be?

I would pick Secretariat in 1973 at the Belmont Stakes winning by 31 lengths and blowing out the record lap time, which still stands today at 2:24.

This would be up there. Cannot think of anything else I would enjoy more.
Possibly being able to watch the saints win the superbowl like Inhad never seen it happen before again. That or the tigers winning in 2003 for the first time in my life.

Too many I'd want to see but first one that came to mind was

1951 National League Pennant Game 3 - Dodgers vs Giants at the Polo Grounds

I would go back and watch Auburn beat Oregon again for the natty.

I was there but I would love to see it again.

105 BC to 404 AD. Gladiators. Fights were usually to the death. Not sure which one since history is sketchy which was best.

Roman gladiator games were an opportunity for emperors and rich aristocrats to display their wealth to the populace, to commemorate military victories, mark visits from important officials, celebrate birthdays or simply to distract the populace from the political and economic problems of the day. (Also known as a false flag, the last section)

That Belmont changed the English language lol…

Idk if people used the word “Sham” for a hilarious fake ripoff before that race but I bet they did after

Sitting behind Hitler during the 1936 Olympic 100 meters would be a trip, especially if I had a Luger and a time machine that could zap my arse out of there pronto.

This wouldn't change history like you'd think though.
