Why did Hamas start this?

Do you really think that October 7th was the “start” of this? The killing on both sides has been going on for decades. A better question is why did Netanyahu say that he preferred that Hamas continues to be in existence in Gaza,…….why would he want that….?

I agree with much of what you have posted on the TC interview of NF. TC challenged him on his view of Jews, but that “I’m an admirer of Stalin” came totally out of left field and clearly caught TC off guard (it was clearly a troll comment from NF and was awful)

I then watched some of the TC interview with Ted Cruz. My impression of that was that Ted was the one that verbally attacked TC and then they both went at it hard in those exchanges. Totally different vibe than the TC-NF thing, and Ted was the one looking for a fight.

After that I watched some NF clips and he clearly comes off as some who regularly blames “the Jews” for things that should be laid at the feet of Netanyahu or Israeli billionaires. I do not trust NF.
3down10 is right.

Our government should not be picking out small boats in international waters to blow up and kill everyone on board, I do not care what they suspect is on those boats.

Everyone that is citing “international law” and other such administrative a$$ covering should think hard about what is being done.
You posted the Odds of burglary by region are

11% in the northeast

47% in the south

Anyone with any common sense and experience knows that it is ridiculous to suggest the northeast is safer than the southeast. I do not know if you have deceitfully collected/edited statistics, or it is just false information. Why don’t you cite your sources?

This is the kind of lying the main stream media engages in, and why no one trusts those propaganda outlets.

My history:

In my 20’s wrecked my left knee, torn ligaments, burst artery, torn cartilage - had surgery and did rehab to get back to normal athletic functioning without limits, took about a year

In my 40’s playing tennis tore my right knee cartilage, knee ballooned up and floating pieces inside, put off surgery but knee would occasionally lock up when the pieces got in the wrong place - had surgery and worked hard in rehab to get back to normal

In my 50’s the left knee began to hurt anytime I played tennis, worked with an orthopedist and a rehab PT to avoid surgery, got by for a few years, orthopedist said only way to make the pain go away was a knee replacement. Got the replacement and worked very hard in rehab, took almost a year to get back to normal athletic functioning.

My advice:
- make sure you have a good orthopedic doctor and get a second opinion before any surgery (a simple cartilage removal can turn into a problem if done poorly)
- get a good PT and work hard on rehab
Doesn’t he have a side gig writing a column for AL.com?
metafour that was some well written background information on Franklin, he would be the worst hire we could make in my opinion. I saw his teams play at Vandy and Penn State, and they never beat a good team that I saw.

He had loads of talent at Penn State and regularly coached it down so that he barely beat Big 10 mid-level teams, and was never in contention against really good teams.
I was at the grocery store and looked at a whole chicken that I paid $10-$15 for about two years ago, it was $30.

But if we did how would Bama fans deal with being called for holding too.

PS - would love to have the replay audio like the ACC in SEC games…
No.

Lane has lost some high profile games, but he has won a few too.

I have never seen a Franklin coached team beat any decent college football team,…..ever.
This post comes across as “look at the bad Muslims! You are a Jew hater and stupid if you look at the evil things the Israeli government is doing!”.

Instead of these emotional appeals why don’t you present some facts to bolster an argument.

Again it is sad to see how many on this board see anyone criticize the Israeli government and then immediately call that person antisemitic

Fixed your quote to more accurately reflect what I see happening….
Wow, doubling down on your ignorance and your sweeping generalizations. My only emotional response is sympathy for whomever you come in contact with on daily basis.

By the way, for someone who uses the word “illiterate” so much, you may want to check in on the literacy of the person that wrote this:

…of evedy baby born…
quote:

Most boomers and Gen Xers were raised financially illiterate

Ridiculously ignorant statement. The cause of these delinquent loans needs more background information or facts before one could reasonably make any attributions as to cause. Could it be the parents that co-signed a loan are being identified by this data as the “delinquent “ person? Could it be that when the 1992 changes for student loans allowed for these types of loans to become a money making scam (as opposed to true “student” loans) that many unscrupulous older people took advantage of the system ?

All of these seem more likely to me. I know that I am older and myself and my friends that took out student loans (because our families could not afford to pay for college for us) ALL paid off our loans as soon as we could afford to.

However, I will refrain from making sweeping generalizations about people in your age group that want to dump on “boomers” to explain the ills of the world.
Yeah, I agree with you on your description of Brian Kelly.

I do not know how hard Harsin worked, but if he did work it was often on the wrong thing (recruiting…..?).

In terms of staying for the long term the bottom line is as you described it,…..winning overcomes all other shortcomings.

“Fit” should not be in the criteria at all. It’s almost cultish

No, …not almost,…it IS cultish. The example of Saban that you bring up is instructive because he overcame his shortcomings in the “fit” category at LSU and Bama through good results and determination to succeed using his own approach. However, his “major domo” personality does fit at SEC schools because most SEC fans and power brokers like the HMFIC attitude that Saban had.

However there have been a couple of recent examples of “fit” At SEC schools that caused issues:

Brian Kelly at LSU did not “fit”

Bryan Harsin at Auburn did not “fit” and was dead on arrival (I blame the AD for that one)

Hugh Freeze at Auburn did “fit” with his schmoozing of boosters and good recruiting, but this caused him to hang on too long despite some horrendous on-field coaching.

Unfortunately “fit” is a real thing that has an impact on a coach’s longevity.
There are some great points made in this article. Having worked in this area 10-20 years ago there were companies that forced unions to deal with the coming retiree healthcare liability massive costs. However, large Democrat cities with strong public unions and weak leadership have been continually pushing their retiree liability onto the larger American public through federal means (I.e. Obamacare). I am very glad to see some of this truth coming out.
