I went to a different gate later and that was the case. Today everyone was on the same page. Just seemed crazy at the time.
Good point. To counter, why not let people go out to their car/tailgate to relax in a seat with a cushion and do what they like for an hour, then return to watch the other game (and buy more concessions)? If the person that uses a ticket for the first game wants to leave after their game and give to someone else, then you have a filled seat where there would otherwise be an empty one. Am I missing something?
Went in blind, I have poor expectations going forward
It’s embarrassing. Parking lot people couldn’t give me a straight answer for how long we could park there, saying I couldn’t park there all day because there was another event nearby tonight. So I’m supposed to move my car during the second game potentially, with no reentry? Outfield gate said absolutely no reentry, front gate guy gave me a stamp on the hand for reentry though. Don’t trust how official that is. Big screen in the outfield works sometimes. Underwhelming first visit to Jacksonville so far
But the lady at the gate said I cannot leave between games and come back in. That makes no sense to me. Who is going to sit in that shithole ballpark for 8+ hours?

Checking in, section 112

Also, I have an extra weekend pass that needs a home…
Will somebody get Yorke some bigger numbers on his jersey, for God’s sake

Yep, pulled the plug this morning
I remember a few years back when some of those guys were doing a little tournament at the old spot in Metairie. Drove down mostly to watch Efren Reyes while I had the chance, the room was packed.

Thanks for the heads up on the timing, I will hold off a few weeks.

Also, planning to cut grass tomorrow afternoon once the sun has had a chance to soak up most of the water from the storm. Spread after the cut?

That’s what I thought, thank you. In Baton Rouge, which pre-emergent would you suggest? I’m assuming I should spread this weekend. St. Aug and Bermuda, for the most part, in my yard.

Pre-emergent question

I’ve been spraying VBW, spurge, nutsedge and other pesky weeds in my newly regenerated yard since last year’s destruction due to the dry spell and heavy machinery running through my yard last winter. They are still hanging around and I’m working on neutralizing it, but do I also need to spread pre-emergent going into the fall/winter or is that a waste since it’s still pretty present/prevalent?

I'm not as old as some of you guys, so I don't remember much before John Brady. That was one of the funnest sporting events I ever witnessed. It was a 3 hour party.
Happened to walk by Frank's just now on the way back to the hotel. Stood in line for a slice, ate it outside on the sidewalk, so good I had to wait in line to get another slice. I love those kinds of pizza joints.
