As I said in another thread. If Burrow and Chase was not on the Bengals, 95% of the people currently bitching would not be bitching.
Well they are on the Bengals.

It will be looked at in the same way the dodgers World Series is looked at, imo.

Lol. Is there any championship that comes with an asterisk? Don’t hear much asterisks talk with the Spurs 1999 championship for the 50 game season. Too much sports radio bro.

Only if you believe the Chiefs having to defeat the hapless Raiders their last game would equal staring down the barrel.

Wrong…Chiefs have 2 game lead over Bengals

If Bills beat Bengals - Chiefs would’ve been locked in at 2 seed regardless of week 18

If Bengals beat Bills - Chiefs would have to win week 18 for 1 seed

Bills and Bengals essentially got a bye week and teams like the Chiefs didn’t get a good scouting report in a top profile game.

PLUS

If the Bills would’ve won….Chiefs would be resting all their starters this Saturday since that game would be irrelevant in seeding.

Chiefs lost to both the Bengals and the Bills and don’t even deserve a neutral site game

The Chiefs only have 3 losses friend. Chiefs likely to move to 14-3 by Saturday night.

Bengals were looking like they were about to go up 14-3 on the Bills when this all happened. My simple math says that would leave both the Bills and Bengals with 4 losses.

Chiefs were gonna get that 1 seed.

So, no asterisk needed. You don’t get to asterisk something just because you don’t like it.

One could make an argument that this potential resolution -instead of awarding Bills and Bengals a tie, or basing seeding off winning percentage - is screwing the Chiefs over.

All the Chiefs have done is play their schedule. If they go 14-3, they should be awarded being able to play at Arrowhead for the AFC Championship Game. It’s not their fault that this tragedy happened or that the Bills/Bengals wasn’t played.

It’s not the Chiefs fault that Buffalo and Cincy had their game cancelled

It was way too early in that game to make any conclusions like this. KC was gifted the number 1 seed and it is not deserved.

Exactly. Way too early.

So again, they still could have lost. Or maybe they would have won. But they didn’t.

Its not a gift to anyone. They didn’t play. They don’t have the same number of wins. So, sorry you don’t like it, but the Chiefs will likely finish with more wins.

And that’s not their fault.

mean ffs Cincinnati is not a Louisiana team and you guys are out full force with the propaganda and asterisk talk like it's LSU

The blowing of Cincinnati by LSU fans (and I am a LSU fan) is fricking sick and weird.

Rams being gifted a trip to Super Bowl LIII will always be the biggest asterisk in NFL history.

Doesn't matter if Cincinnati beat Kansas City or not. If the Chiefs beat the Raiders they will have finished the season with three losses and Cincinnati will finish with at least four losses. Chiefs would earn a higher seed based on the results of the entire season.

Alabama isn't really a number one fan for Dolphins because of Tua. Maybe if they live in Florida and close to Miami. But Louisianians are crazy about Cincy because of 2 players that went to LSU. Quarterback and wide receiver. It is what it is about Louisianians who doesn't support New Orleans from their own State. That is sad. Burrow is just a quarterback that went to LSU for two years. I do root for some players on another team but Louisianians to go crazy nuts about Cincy even though there is another team in Louisiana.
