I also think him toeing the sideline and shite trying to get a call needs to be handled. It’s a terrible precedent that he’s setting

He’s setting? Brady was doing it before he ever picked up a football..

Flopper

If it’s rigged….

Bet the Chiefs and you’ll win!

Yesssir!!

Also, the 2nd Int wasn’t double coverage. I won’t get dive deep into the minutia of nfl coverage schemes, bc you won’t understand it anyway. But for due purposes, Highins was essentially 1 on 1 with a backup safety on that play. There was a corner trailing the play and he ended up making the int bc the ball was tipped 10 feet up into the air and he was close enough in the area to get under it only bc it was tipped. It wasn’t a double coverage yolo toss. Also, even if it was. It was 3rd down. Burrow was getting hit and no other read was remotely open.

Chiefs were in man coverage. Higgins blew by Watson the corner and had a step on him. Cook the safety was sitting right there!!!! Two Chiefs were in Higgins hip pocket at the 45 yard line and caught it at the 20!! That’s the definition of throwing into DOUBLE COVERAGE!!

Yes it was 3rd and 3. You do realize when you go deep…the OL has to block (which they weren’t all night) stupid desperate play in the scheme of things. Got greedy and paid the price! Under thrown because to your point he was hit. They were desperate all night. That 4th down deep into DOUBLE COVERAGE to Chase simply a play that the Bengals have two stud WRs that can beat it at times.

Here is the link if you’d like to watch it again Double Coverage

A lot of people don’t know ball or quarterback play here. Burrow actually graded out significantly higher than Mahomes in that AFC championship game. Significantly.

And Hurts outplayed Mahomes in the superbowl right?

Burrow did not outplay Mahomes. What’s your outplayed argument bc statistically you can’t in that game! Mahomes beat him in every relevant category.

Burrow under threw both and decision to go deep into double coverage is risky. Hey, when you have a stud WR goin against two rookies it’s worth a shot…or maybe not

Mahomes might have another 5-6 years of peak based off of his playstyle and Andy Reid getting up there in age as well. Enjoy it while it lasts.

So you think when he is 33 he will be done? Why do you think that? Only way would be injury…

Andy Reid is 64. He will be there till Mahomes is gone

Bengals are going to be fine offensively. They need to keep their dominant defense intact as much as they can.

I agree. As long as you protect Burrow he will be fine offensively. They will likely lose Higgins after this year unless he takes a pay cut. Defensively has been proven to stall the Chiefs more often than other teams. Not scoring 31ppg like they do usually. Chase and Higgins have been tough to handle.
quote:

And on top of that, Chiefs have more draft capital than the Bengals for the upcoming draft. 9 picks vs. 7 picks

Chiefs will have 12 this year after compensatory
quote:

They were staring down the barrel of a 3 seed and now they get the 1 seed, a bye week and the advantage of not playing either Bills or Bengals until AFC championship. NFL dropped the ball.

Wrong…Chiefs have 2 game lead over Bengals

If Bills beat Bengals - Chiefs would’ve been locked in at 2 seed regardless of week 18

If Bengals beat Bills - Chiefs would have to win week 18 for 1 seed

Bills and Bengals essentially got a bye week and teams like the Chiefs didn’t get a good scouting report in a top profile game.

PLUS

If the Bills would’ve won….Chiefs would be resting all their starters this Saturday since that game would be irrelevant in seeding.

Mahomes is 4-1 without Hill.

Kelce isn’t going anywhere. He’s a lifer. Him and Mahomes are bff.

Andy Reid builds his offense off players strengths. I think the Chiefs will be more balanced. Not as terrifying offensively without Hill but still scoring points. Defense will get better. They have went young. Tons of cap space. Most players locked in. Mahomes deal is 45M per year. Veach continues to build cap and draft studs. That’s the key.

With that said. This year will be rough. Hardest schedule based on current rosters.
Zion wanted money. Those were the allegations. Don’t think he signed with KU…

I’m concerned about Villanova. They either don’t make it out of the first weekend, or they go all the way. They fricking whacked us in the 2018 final four but I was kind of glad just to make it for that year. The second half of Miami seemed like the only easy time we’ve had besides Texas Southern. Playing North Carolina or Duke as a prize also sucks. I hope North Carolina pulls it off somehow. Our biggest problem overall as a basketball program is our poor record in the championship. We’ve been runner up in the tournament 5 times. Had we just won like two or three of those, we would have a better argument as an all-time great program with Kentucky and Duke.

KU and Duke actually have both been runner up 6 times each. However Duke has 5 titles while KU has 3. Nova has 3, UNC has 6. So for a fans standpoint this means a ton to each program. As a KU fan it’s been painful to see so many great teams fall short. That 2020 team was the most recent. Once you get there anything can happen. Duke has the most talent and with coach K last ride odds are stacked for them. If KU plays like they did against Miami second half Bill will cut his second net down. Nova is great. I like Jay Wright. Underrated and classy.
Only TE to have more than 2 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons. Currently has 6 in a row. No TE like him. That walk off vs LAC this year he had 3 defenders in front and wiggled right through them. Most TE are clunky and block well. Kelce is more WR but big enough to dominate secondaries. When his career is over he will be on path to be the greatest or top 3 lock

I get the feeling that 10 years from now the question will be “How many Super Bowls would the Bills have won if not for Patrick Mahomes

Should’ve kept the #10 pick in the 2017 draft..

Burrow states SEC Stadiums are louder than NFL stadiums and they start breaking out Guinness book world records getting all bent out of shape …. Has anyone been to Arrowhead and can compare it to Death Valley against let’s say ranked Florida at night

Burrow said this in October. Taken out of context. I’ve been to arrowhead 6 times. Been to lsu student section for years. Both the loudest outdoor venues. LSU holds more and depending game/situation they have their moments. Arrowhead is build to be on top of the players and it’s the closest thing to a college environment. Very lsu like with the tailgating. Regardless…it’s gonna be loud AF Sunday.

I followed this story pretty close being a Chiefs fan. First I don’t know Tyreek so I can’t judge him personally. The NFL didn’t even suspend him. Nor the Chiefs. He wasn’t fined. His gf is the one that broke their sons arm. She admitted to it. Even when she recorded him without his knowledge the conversation went against her. He brought up the college incident. Almost like he took blame for something she did. The point I’m making is he isn’t this monster he was made out to be. Going around beating kids.

Literally Sixth Sense type situation. munchausen by proxy syndrome

Did anyone know that or just assume he broke his kids arm and the NFL was like that’s no problem. I mean they suspended AP for his abusive case. Ray Rice is gone. Chiefs canned Kareem Hunt for his abuse and lies. However, Tyreek never suspended. Makes you wonder ??

All you have to do is commit to the running game and you can really hurt 2 high

Exactly. Mahomes isn’t making awful reads. He’s having to take what defenses give him which is short yardage. This year the majority of interceptions have all been coverage picks. Half of not more been deflections off receivers. I’d be concerned if he was just not seeing the defenders but he doesn’t get fooled much at all which is why he is so special at this young. If the Chiefs and Bills commit more to the run they would draw those safeties up. Regardless they still move the ball up the field with ease. The Chiefs have 18 turnovers in the redzone! Earlier they were averaging 30 ppg with 3/4 turnovers a game. Just imagine if they can hold on to the ball…which is what they did against the Raiders 41-14 type game. Sooner or later the offense will figure a way to kill it consistently. One great RB or OL dominance with possibly a stud 3rd WR option would slaughter anything trying to stop it. (At least theoretical it should)
