A three loss team could be competing for the national championship provided they look like they belong and have a schedule to back it up. Bama was not a deserving three loss team and neither was Texas although I would say that Texas was better than Bama.

Right realistically. Bama wasted someone else’s spot again
The PI and missed face mask were huge calls

Reminder that Cignetti once coached at Alabama under Saban, and was hired at Indiana while Alabama chose DeBoer. Second guessing is easy, but the results so far don’t lie.

Right. Indiana isn’t a bunch of scrubs but you can’t tell me they are more talented man to man than Alabama or Ohio State

What Cignetti has done in the last two years is the greatest coaching job in college football history.

Agreed. I can’t think of anything like this. Maybe Miami in the early 80s.
IDK. I think Tech just choked. Not to say they would have won at their best but they blew it.
I’m glad they were on given what I was doing, but the Saturday before Christmas is a pretty busy day for most people

If Tulane and James Madison get housed, I expect a tweak to the format.

IMO it’s a good idea to have one. This year none were deserving and we end up with two.
Hard to feel too bad for anyone with an offer from Michigan. Plenty of choices. Unless it’s too late and they are squeezed out. That would be unfortunate

Yes. This would be the equivalant of Saban leaving us directly for Alabama. The buffer was needed. LSU fans would have lost their minds.

Leaving for Alabama before the 2003 postseason, our best season since the 60s
I don’t get the ROI for most of it but IDK
Denver. They don’t lose
I can’t even follow it anymore.

I guess I was just hoping he wasn’t fired based on emotion given all that’s at stake, aside from hundreds of millions of dollars.

But nope. No plan.

Like filing for a divorce after an argument.
I don’t think the gumps even argue he was out of bounds. They say the wr touched it out of bounds or something

I believe OOB was the call though?
This. At the time I lived in Colorado. It was also a case of not knowing what you got until it’s gone. It was all people knew, it wasn’t considered “cool” anymore.
Last night was first time in awhile it was just infuriating.

I wish we didn’t play so bad and it was closer.

But it brought back all the BS bama anger. The fake calls, reviews, non-calls. Infuriating
The Vandy game, really all of it, confirmed
I’m taking my kid to a game next year from out of state.

I’m thinking it should be early season. I don’t want this to happen. BK won’t get fired.
