Exactly. He's an elite coach. He took Texas Tech to the national championship game and had Texas primed for a final 4 until he beat his girlfriend. Last year he took perennial bottom feeder Ole Miss to ontly their second sweet 16 in school history. His problem is the NIL money at Ole Miss. They're giving it all to the football program. He must kick himself everyday for turning down the Arky job.

I think you are talking about Texas A&M.

Are you saying dumb fans are better than no fans?

I can't claim to be an expert at college baseball, so I'm asking those of you with a lot more knowledge here. Why do these Wednesday matchups seem to be so tough across the board for SEC teams? Most of the time, they are what I would consider to be "lesser" opponents and yet pretty much every SEC team loses a few of these games or struggles to win them (as my Tigers did last night).

That is because your team will more likely lose 2 out of 3 against an unranked Missouri team.

I have to ask. Why would he go back to a school that fired him before?

LSU AD saying the current basketball coach will likely be back next season.

We’re gonna get drubbed in sec play so excuse me for stating the inevitable

Mizzou hasn't had a winning SEC record since this coach took over a couple years. The team has been ranked last every year.

5-5 Dawgs vs Troy in the 9th

Don't worry. It's going to be the fall of Troy. Look at history. Georgia got this one.

Texas
Missouri
Auburn

This is the order in which things will likely fall. As of now all are likely in, but just barely for Missouri and auburn
Missouri and auburn are interchangeable at this point but personally I’m giving the edge to missouri.

Did you know Mizzou beat Texas A&M and has a great chance to go 2-1 in the next 3 games. That will get Missouri in.

That’s good stuff.

Man, I think Dan still has 10 good years left and I bet he gets back into a big time program and makes 1 more run at it.

The guy is eat up with ball and can always put up points with his type of offense. I’d love to see him back at MSU.
I won't be surprised if MSU beat Mizzou this coming season.

Replacing two aces is a work in progress. Moore looks like a legit weekend guy and Evans will come around. Schmidt was strong on Sunday. I feel good about those three, but no one will have a 1-2 like LSU had last year.

Mizzou will be ready to beat your team this year. Count on it.

Mizzou punched its NCAA ticket tonight-- no way they'll be denied

I think you might be right. May need at least one of the last three though.

Mizzou will need to win 2 out of 3 to have a chance. That shouldn't be a problem.

I don’t think Days that great of a coach. He’s had top talent because of a pile of money they’ve bought players with. They’re loaded again this year, so will be Interesting to see how hot his seat is if they don’t win it all. The win it a couple of years ago with uber talented one year transfers

What?! Are you referring to Lame Kiffin?

Isn't Pope the coach right now? Why do you think he will be gone at the end of this year?
quote:

Im pretty sure LSU hired the right coach, I know it and you know it.

Many LSU fans said the samething about Brian Kelly. Kiffin may improved the team overall win-loss record but he probably won't win a championship at LSU. I don't feel that Kiffin is a championship caliber HC.

DeBoer is a good coach in the wrong place.Just like BK,MM at LSU things just didn’t click.Nobody knows about Golding .Running a football PROGRAM is different than coaching on gameday. When a coach is responsible for the whole 9 yards the pressure is on.Lets see how he does.

Since you brought that up. I would say the same for Kiffin at LSU. The pressure is on kiffin too.

Nope that will be Missouri.

Curious about your opinions…

I am sure LSU hired the wrong coach.

Goddamn.

Auburn and LSU dragging down the entire conference.

Are you talking about football?
quote:

No. They should issue citations like normal cops. I've practiced criminal defense law all over the State of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County seems to have the only police department hell bent on arresting people for speeding/reckless driving. Everywhere else, offenders end up with points on their license, a hefty fine (plus court costs), and mandatory defensive driving classes -- not a mugshot.

Again Georgia Tech fans might have set this up. This sound fishy so might check out on Georgia Tech fans and the administration.

A classic Louisiana staple.

ARMADILLO IN MUSTARD SAUCE RECIPE

1 1/4 cups dry white wine
1/2 cup oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed (optional)
1/4 cup butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1 med. onion, sliced thin
1 armadillo, cleaned and cut into serving pieces
(Louisiana prefered but Texas dillo will do)
1 1/4 cups light cream
1 tbsp. brown mustard (e.g. Gulden's) or Poupon Dijon
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix all ingredients of marinade and add armadillo. Marinate about 8 hrs., turning meat occasionally. Remove armadillo and reserve marinade.

Melt butter in deep skillet and brown armadillo pieces. Pour in marinade and bring to a boil. Stir in seasoning, cover and simmer until tender (about 1 - 1 1/4 hours.) Remove skillet from the fire and place armadillo pieces on a warmed platter.

Mix mustard and cornstarch, then mix in cream. Return skillet to low heat and stir in this mixture a little at a time. Stir sauce until hot, but not boiling, and thickened. Pour sauce over armadillo. Serve with steamed rice.

Do that do Louisiana natives do the same thing for rats?

Vitello’s a chump. Classic underachiever. He’ll be fired in 3 years.

Maybe he will comeback to Missouri to be the next HC.
