I’m a pretty realistic person. I truly don’t see LSU staying within 17 points. Feel free to bookmark.
Lame Kiffin is in his first year. There is no chance he will get LSU to the playoffs this season.

I’m an LSU fan and while I think we have a good team, Chambliss and Lacy are top tier.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we lost
And Kiffin would be saying why didn't they join me to LSU? Oh well. Maybe LSU will beat them next year.

Will Kiffin try to get Austin Mack for next year?

Good to see Florida back on the schedule. First SEC team to ever play in Auburn and closest one geographically.
LSU and Tennessee back feels like old times again.
This might not be the right time to bring those teams back because that might keep Auburn down for a while longer.

The most likely scenario is that Ole Miss is going to roll LSU in week 3.
What will LSU fans be thinking then?
Will Kiffin be on the hot seat right away?
Or will they make some weird excuses for him, like "HE MADE OLE MISS"?
One game at a time.

I mean..seems like a bad idea to try and talk down to a team that beat you by double digits last time you played.....

You don't quite understand the psyche of LSU fans. They are a profoundly ignorant fan-base. Hope springs eternal with them, regardless of the circumstances.
It didn't have to be Kiffin being hired this season that has given them renewed hope and brash, stupid, confidence. They've always been that way.
They could have won zero games for the last 5 years and then see a crawdad with a crooked tail and take that as an omen that they are going to dominate.
The breadwinner of the family could have caught a nutria with one eye and 3 legs and interpret that as a sign that LSU is back. Things like this give them confidence to trash talk even teams and fans of teams that completely shite on them all the time.
The more LSU loses, the more proud and defiant they get because they truly believe the world is against them and LSU has been cheated somehow or the other and they have to defend them.
Coonasses drive their fanbase and a coonass is an odd creature. They are too poor to paint and too proud to whitewash. Generational and grinding ignorance and poverty drags them down and only their insurmountable stupidity keeps them afloat. They are literally too stupid to realize how stupid they seem to others.
Is this what most LSU fans do in their real life?

Cuz he knows Texas is a bad gig. It’s a school with more money than brains and everyone in Austin is soft as frick.

Then he would have backed out well before.
The only reason why he backed out at the end of the bowl game was his team lost to UCF. I still don't get why that was the reason for backing out of the Texas HC job.

You guys are just full of terrible takes aren’t you?
Remember when Ole Miss struggled in the playoffs without Kiffin!?!?!!
Literally played two common opponents and scored more points WITHOUT Kiffin lmao. You people are fricking morons.
I am expecting Ole Miss to make the playoffs and LSU to miss the playoffs this season.

shite, last time they did this it was in August 2024 to get ahead of the shitty season they knew we were about to have.
6-6 incoming on the year.
I am expecting Missouri to lose to Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Mississippi State. I did post that Missouri will go 5-7 this season. I am done with Drinkwitz bloated salary for being just an average HC in the SEC. Missouri might want to look into hiring one of the current HCs that are looking for a better job after the season is over.

Not long ago, guys were leaving college early just for a shot at an NFL contract. Now, they're begging to stay in the NCAA as long as possible... it's crazy, I think the average age on the IU football team last year was over 23. How is that even possible?
It's not even NIL money these guys are getting, most of it is just "pay for play". The money being paid out doesn't really help the company or alum it's coming from beyond hopefully stacking their favorite team. NIL was supposed to be a mutual gain for both parties and significantly enhance their revenue/ image.
I guess this is to be expected when guys get paid close to 7 figures just to a starter in most cases.
Anyway, I'm 30 now and that's my "get off my lawn" speech for the day. I miss the way things were.
LSU is one of the top in NIL. You should be ashamed that your school has been doing this for a while.

No, but Tennessee in Neyland may be a problem for them.
But why is OU ranked high in the polls and not Tennessee?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie files lawsuit that would allow him to quit the team and go back to college if he wins
How crazy is this? Is he looking to make more money by going back to college?

How you guys feeling?
I can't wait to see LSU fans go crazy about ending behind Alabama once again. LSU probably isn't going to make the playoffs this year.

And I do think there are (legitimate) concerns over bringing in someone this late to take a roster spot and playing time from a guy who has grinding with the team all spring, summer, and fall camp. If your not careful, that can really mess with roster cohesion and the locker room
This will be part of what holding Kiffin back since he just took over the HC job at LSU.

After the 2014 season. Losing to UCF in the bowl game made him pull out of the Texas HC job.
Art Briles had six-year deal in place to become Texas head coach: "I was there"

I do think they have a chance to be good.
Briles will do great with their QB. It’s a perfect fit
Clemson got a steal with Chad Morris as the OC there.

They got a new OL coach, as that unit was a disaster last year, and brought in 9 OL from the portal, a JUCO signee, and 4 HS signees.
If Sellers stays healthy and the OL gels this could be a 9-10 win playoff dark horse team
Did you see my prediction for Missouri? 5-7. I am hoping for a change by the end of this year so that the offense won't be running the Gus Malzahn system again.

Fair enough. I think you’re wrong but we’ll see. I think lsu wins at least a first round game of the playoffs…after that, hard to say. So, in your opinion who are the 5 losses?
quote:
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Alabama
Texas
By then the team has opted out and they lose to whoever they play in the Texas Bowl.
Did you forget about OU?

Lame Kiffin has never made the playoffs at his new school or in the NFL. The key is first year at a new school or the NFL. Kirby Smart and Nick Saban failed to do it too.
