How anyone still drinks and drives these days is beyond me. It's literally never been easier to not do that.

What an idiot.

Prayers for the family of the person who died.

I’m assuming being a Chevy, that’s a new corvette. Also, looks to be a Prius he hit, which makes sense of why it looks like it was burned up pretty good.

Very likely. The prosecution still technically has to prove causation. Superseding intervening cause could be a defense. Certainly there will usually be a presumption it was the drunk driver's fault however.

If found criminally liable? Definitely. If not found criminally liable? Still probably done.

Didn’t he hit a pedestrian who jumped out into the road?

Maybe I’m mixing up accidents.

Doesn't the NFL literally have a program for players? So that players that get fricked up don't have to use a normal uber

This doesn't appear to be anything like that case.

If I remember correctly he got off on more of a technicality I believe because the deceased was jaywalking.

Believe so and there was more to it that helped him. I believe either he was the one that called 911 or/and he stayed on scene to help.

The story I recall is a homeless person walked into the road and drunk or not, Stallworth could not have avoided the incident. That was the saving fact as I recall.

Yes. They even get your car towed at no charge.

Yes. The decedent illegally ran onto a highway or interstate, which is what created that situation. Alcohol or not, it wasn't due to Stallworth.
