Calvin Johnson ended up at a program running the option stil
Former Denver Broncos WR, Rod Smith, of Missouri Southern State University.
Absolutely a HOF caliber player when considering his full body of work, including the playoffs.
Unfortunately, it’s unlikely he gets in.

2010 Bama. Their run game and defense were unstoppable that year.
The defense was definitely talented, but even they were young and anything but unstoppable.
Again, I have 2010 Alabama beating 2007 Florida.

The first time we showed up in the season with a fully intact and healthy roster (minus Mark Barron) was the 2011 Capital One Bowl
Not talking about Greg McElroy or Mark Barron, both of which were hurt during the game.
Also, 2010 Alabama > 2007 Florida.

Rejects is saying him and Kodi Burns don’t mesh well, haven’t meshed well and apparently Duke Smith got into it with another player and that was the final straw.
His brother is still on the team.

Is this a projection?

I haven’t heard anything positive for Auburn
Also, Cedrick Simmons = Jock Sanders (former WVU WR) with a less long speed.

He also just made the move from Southside to Selma HS, along with his HC and the QB who threw for 5k yards and 60 TD as an 8th grader.
I have a buddy that coaches at Selma HS. He told me this kid really looks up to Duke and Eric Smith.

Curious how he will look transferring to Selma High. They threw the ball a ton at southside and he had D1 receivers to throw it to. There isn't much competition in the black belt, they're all poor programs with poor coaching and facilities for the most part.

His QB is a guy to look for in a few years, Kole Moody. Lead the nation in passing yards as an 8th grader. Coaches son,

Now that traditional high school recruiting really doesn’t matter that much
How do you think these kids are vultured in the portal? How do you think Alabama just got that OL to transfer to Alabama from Michigan? How do you think Auburn got the CB to transfer from Florida State?
HS recruiting matters.

Why is it that Auburn fans seem to be the source for University of Alabama sports news on here?
I get most of my Auburn info from Alabama fans on this site.

quote:Simmons seems like a wildcard. I’ve read he’s not of typical size that AG looks for in a WR and he also grew up an Alabama fan with most of his family being Alabama fans.
Yea I think I saw Simmons was going to be committing in the next couple days and Preston Williams as well. Have to feel good about both.
That said, Auburn’s side seems confident.
I like him as a player. Undersized and built like a RB, but I think he could have a role in the future.
Sounds like WR Cedrick Simmons from Southside (Selma, AL) commits Tuesday. Grew up an Alabama fans and has a lot of Alabama fans in his family per my guy that coaches in Selma. Undersized but I think this guy can produce in time. He’s built like a RB.
Alabama and Auburn are the final 2.
