Awful situation, my heart goes out to the deceased’s family
Why can so many young pro players not get out of their own way, such a stupid stupid stupid decision to hop in the car and drive for him.
You’re a millionaire playing football, you’ve changed your family’s financial situation for possibly generations, just call the fricking Uber or a friend to take you home.
Now it’s over, you’re done, careers over and someone is dead. All because you chose not to hitch a ride home. Just awful

Sad situation all the way around. 22 year olds are known to make bad decisions you just hate to see it cause harm to another and to themselves so severely. Prayers for the victim and their family as well as Ruggs and his family.

The charge for DUI causing substantial bodily harm or death is a category “B” Felony, which is the second most severe level of Felony in Nevada law. In this instance, such a crime is punishable by imprisonment in Nevada State Prison system for a minimum term of 2 years and a maximum term 20 years. It also carries a fine of between $2,000.00 to $5,000.00. More importantly, DUI causing substantial bodily harm or death is a non-probationable offense, meaning if you are convicted, you must go to prison.
This is what Mcafee just quoted too FWIW

Ruggs wakes up a millionaire and is now going to be behind bars for the rest of his life. Wooof.
He's not going to jail for the rest of his life
His career is over though

That law firm already had good SEO and they're about to go into the stratosphere.

Most in this this thread have convicted Ruggs already. We do not know anything about his alleged intoxication other than he "exhibited signs of impairment" at the scene of a severe collision.
Stop with the kneejerk reactions already.
This is no different than when people freak out when police kill someone and all they know about the incident is what they garnered from a short video clip.
Chill, bros.

Sticking up for somebody who just killed a dude isn’t the best look in the world.

He's not "sticking up" for anyone. He's saying that jumping to all of these incredible conclusions with not many facts is in fact very stupid.

FIFY.
I'm not sticking up for Ruggs. I'm saying convicting him already is asinine.
For frick's sake, kneejerk overreactions are the reason for all the societal unrest last year.
Again, chill, bros.

Neither is bringing out the pitchforks and condemning him to hell

Sounds like he was drunk and killed someone...

Y’all can say whatever you want about waiting to see what happens. Ruggs just killed somebody last night. He should have never gotten in that car if he was in fact impaired. Multi millionaire can’t take an Uber? Somebody is dead because of him. “Oh let’s wait to see all the facts!!” Ruggs is a shite human.

He's being charged with a felony. At the very least he was above the legal limit.

Stallworth was an incredibly unique situation of barely being over, and a pedestrian doing something suicidally dumb.
