I assumed triple option, not read option.

What do you think the Triple option is?

You don't think Cam Newton was one of the best (power) read-option quarterbacks in CFB history?

Exactly. Full disclosure, I hate AU with a passion. 2002 LSU alumni here. But Cam was incredible.

2008 - 5-7
2009 - 8-5
2010 - 14-0
2011 - 8-5
2012 - 3-9

Guess which year Cam played. AU would have been another 8 win team without Cam, at best. Instead, they have a crystal ball.

You gotta put Kap on the list. Helped revolutionize the Pistol at Nevada to the point everyone was trying to replicate it

Ehhh. Imagine Frazier, Tebow, Cam playing for Nevada against that competition. Kap wasn't exactly going against an SEC defense

Mildren was better than Street. Royal even said that. Switzer says Mildren was best QB he had until Jamelle

For mentioning Cam Newton, who is in the discussion for best college QB ever, period regardless of type of offense, and Nick Marshall who should absolutely be in this discussion as well?

Please I'd love to hear your argument for why those 2 aren't in this conversation?

Anyway, Eric Crouch is way overrated here. He was God awful as a passer, and IMO not elite as a runner.

My top 4 in no order is Tommie Frazier, Pat White, Cam Newton, and Nick Marshall.

Eric Crouch is a quitter

Nebraska fans do not even respect him

Scott Frost and Frazier have a lot more respect

Nick Marshall doesn't need to be on that list, IMO.

White because of his speed is tough to figure out. Is it because he was so fast?

Vick was never a true option guy imo

Tracey Hamm wasn't that great he just ran a hybrid never seen and they were so much better. I'd take DeAndre over Hamm any day and 3 times on game day.

Nick Marshall ran the read-option to perfection for Auburn in 2013. Nobody could stop that rushing attack. It was impossible. They put together one of the best rushing attacks (top 3) in CFB history and Nick Marshall was the key component.

Dominate is a verb.

Dominant

No. Aubie held lsu defender on the td that was the last score.
Winning on an obvious hold is not dominant. Game changer.

Auburn ran for 440 yards. They dominated the game everywhere not named the scoreboard.

Frazier, but don't forget Jamelle Holloway (OU).

This is the correct and only answer. Holloway was great but as the old men in "Coming to America" said he was no ____ Frazier
