Man I remember seeing something a few weeks ago about how profitable betting the over in every Nats game had been

Ain’t that the truth  feel like we could play them 10 times in a row and the over is gonna hit in 8-9 of them
Good start. Hope we keep it up

Time for :USA:
I agree with you for American pro sports

In a perfect world the MLS would be what the premier league is but that’ll obviously never happen

I would say you should still watch the champions league, specifically the knockout rounds. Those games can be similar to a lot of the World Cup games where they’re so fun to watch even if you don’t have a rooting interest

But what hook is there for most US fans to care about those leagues?

I root for the Saints and Pelicans because they're the local teams.

That’s fair and logical

I think for most people, they either grew up playing/loving the sport or got hooked after a World Cup. As lame as it is, me and my friends grew up playing fifa and that’s a big reason why I’ve always liked the sport:lol:

As far as not having a local team, that’s really just an issue at the beginning. The most common advice people give is just to start watching the premier league on Saturday and Sunday mornings and it won’t take long for you to gravitate towards a team who you like watching or has players you like watching.

Once you start following a specific team (for whatever reason that is), you’ll get hooked and it doesn’t take very long for them to become one of “your teams”

I picked Liverpool cause one of the first games I watched on tv was the 2005 Champions League final aka the miracle in Istanbul. Steven Gerrard was also my favorite player. These days you can watch any premier league team you want. They used to really only show the “big 6” teams on tv so choosing one of those logically made the most sense

Now, I’m just as emotionally attached to Liverpool games as I am for Astros and LSU:cheers:
The way this whole thing has gone I expect them to overturn the decision an hour before kickoff
It doesn’t anger me at all :dunno:

Idc what sports people like and dislike…to each their own

I was just pointing out the absurdity of you saying you don’t know anybody IRL that has watched the World Cup
quote:

I don’t know anyone irl that’s watched a single World Cup game

:rotflmao:

You either have no friends and family or this is one of the worst lies I’ve ever seen on td which is saying something. Both are incredibly sad
Idk what else they can do but there’s no way England survives playing like this
I guess I’m biased but the fact it was a ridiculous decision in the first place makes me not care if it was a ridiculous decision to fix it

Not to mention the improper use of VAR when reviewing the foul in the first place
Totally agree

It’s pathetic it wasn’t overturned Thursday morning

Eta do you think it was a bullshite red card?
Will his hypothetical red card be total horse shite that 99.9% of people say was a horrible call?

A smarter person would stop being a whiny pussy about them some times

That’s bizarre. We had that insane opening day streak too not long ago

Great tempo, easy to sing along with. A no brainer IMO
