If you could read I said Marshall is statistically better than Frazier, not that he actually was. I was using stats to justify Marshall being in that top elite group along with Frazier, and he should be there.

Pure eyeball test, it's a lot closer than you'll admit. You consistently show bias in every thread, no matter what sport, towards guys from a certain era and from a certain region of the country.

No you tried to use stats that aren't comparable based on eras. Yes I am biased

Had Tebow, Holieway, Brennan, and Frazier

All one region and era.

I mean I guess I should deduct Jackson and Walker from best RB since they're from the South since I'm biased. I'm sorry I just don't watch SEC football.

Would you Say Marshall is better than Darian Hagan?

Without a doubt

I mean Hagan had better arm

no, he absolutely did not. Not even close.

There's literally no possible way you can back up or justify that statement.

was a guy that went for 1000 and 1000

So is Marshall.

Hagan did it by the skin of his teeth though, he had 2006 total yards

and won a NC

One of the more laughable "championship" claims this side of WW2

He could throw the ball 73 yards or more?

Dude, find one person that followed college football for the last three decades that would ever have Nick Marshall ranked ahead of Tommy Frazier as great option QB and I'll show you a die hard auburn fan
You don't get it, do you?

Nobody is saying Nick Marshall is the best, but he absolutely deserves to be mentioned with others in this thread.

Eric fricking Crouch.

That 1990 CU team may be the most disrespected national champion ever

People do not understand that if the down marker had the correct down CU would not have spiked the ball on fourth and would have ran the same play they ran on the supposed fifth down

If they had ran an actual play and not spiked the ball then I would agree that CU was not a NC

They deserve being National Champions just as much as any team I have seen

But they still won a national championship as voted on by the AP. I believe Miami was the best team in the country in 1990 but they lost two games they probably shouldn't have. Colorado and Georgia Tech took care of business when it mattered the most. They earned the right to call themselves national champions as a result.

It took a bullshite clipping call in the Orange Bowl for them to win. Complete, game-changing, horrible crap.

Not only is it very suspect that this guy had a stronger arm than Marshall, but this dude was a garbage passer. Career 50.2% completions, 27 TD to 19 INT, and career high of 1538 passing yards in a season

You're knighting for Marshall tells me you never saw Hagan play.

Colorado wasn't throwing same routes that Auburn did. Comparing 2 different eras is disingenuous

Hagan was considered by many to be the greatest option QB in the history of the sport when he left at the end of the 1991 college football season. When Alabama defeated his team in the Blockbuster Bowl to end the season, CBS spent what must have been less than a minute interviewing Gene Stallings while they stopped to talk to Hagan for several minutes.

They played 4 quarters of football against a very good ND team and beat you by one point

The punt return did not have any impact on any of the game before this supposed fake penalty was called

Nevertheless you still had the ball and could not score just a FG to win the game

Plain and Simple CU beat you and they deserve to be called 1990 National Champions

I was born just before his senior seasons, but there's this magical invention called "YouTube"

You really think that routes account for a full 10% difference in completion percentage?

The frick are you talking about?

A punt return for a TD with about a minute to go to take the lead didn't have any impact on the game? That the offense had to drive about 80 yards in a minute instead didn't impact the game?

Get the frick out of here with that. There's a good reason why Colorado is considered a suspect national champion.

Yes and the Single Wing just by formations gives you easier throws and simpler throws.

The IBone was sacked before the Blockbuster Bowl because the passing game was too hard to use.
