Sterling should have been removed 20 years ago...after a pattern of being the worst owner in professional sports - not giving up a crap about creating a competitive team for most of his ownership and being a jerk and tightwad - refusing to pay players FMV.
The guy bought the Clips in 1978 on the cheap for 12 Million...when the league broadcast their Finals on tape delay - and the the product was dying...did nothing to increase the value of his franchise - but rode the coattails of every other owner in reaping the benefits of the NBA boom.
Sterling should thank Magic and Larry for making him filthy rich - the NBA was a dead league when he bought - and Sterling in 2014 acts like a dinosaur NBA owner from 1978 - and the irony of irony craps on Magic Johnson - who turned the league around and made Sterling rich as shite.
