re: North Alabama 2 @ LSU 6 Final

They have been doing that for years. Idk who it is either and I used to have season tickets. I could never locate the person saying it
re: Can lsu make the nit this year?

This team can’t even print the tickets for the NIT
Fans don’t understand the portal
Posted by tadelatt on 12/12/24 at 11:10 pm
With so many LSU players entering the portal, and so much negativity surrounding the portal, I wanted to say something about it.
Do you know how many amazingly talented high school athletes spend years on the bench of the college that recruited them, waiting for their “chance” while coaches prioritize the latest 5-star recruit or transfer? Without the portal, they’re stuck, unable to showcase their skills, grow, or even get meaningful film for the next level. The portal gives these players an option, an escape, and most importantly, a choice.
Think like the recruit instead of a fan. You only get one college career. Imagine being sidelined in a system that doesn’t prioritize your development, and your only options are to stick it out or quit altogether. The transfer portal allows players to take their future into their own hands, finding programs that want to invest in them. It empowers athletes to make decisions based on what’s best for their careers, academics, and personal growth.
And let’s not ignore this: the portal disrupts the NCAA’s power dynamics. For decades, the NCAA’s system funneled money through programs and institutions while athletes were left with little more than a scholarship—often at schools that didn’t value their full potential.
With the portal, players can seek out better opportunities, not just for playing time, but also for NIL deals, better facilities, and coaches who actually invest in their success. This isn’t a lack of loyalty; it’s self-determination in an industry that’s been exploiting players for too long.
The transfer portal levels the playing field. It’s not about disloyalty, it’s about fairness. If coaches can jump from school to school chasing millions of dollars, why can’t athletes have the same right to chase their dreams? The portal isn’t ruining college football; it’s giving athletes a chance to thrive, find the right fit, and truly maximize their potential.

Life Changing money doesn’t matter

First off, it’s now LEGAL to pay players, but don’t think for a second they weren’t doing that already. Ask Will Wade about it.
That said, all you need as a kid is a few hundred thousand because you know the NFL is your future. Only the kids with the worst support system would think otherwise.
It’s starting to feel like baseball. Except instead of going pro, they chose the team with the most money offered and who knows after that.
Don’t ever forget that we won a title and had 2 Heisman Winners that were both transfers. JD was a 4-star QB ranked 35th nationally while Burrow was barely a 4-Star ranked 210th nationally
It’s nice to sign blue chips but we would really like the ones that chose us over the ones that chose the money, blue chips or not

Name the last 5-Star QB for LSU!

Joe Burrow transferred from OSU
Jayden Daniels came from Az State
We will land a transfer that will take over this offense next year

LSU vs Vandy ticket question
Posted by tadelatt on 11/18/24 at 9:49 pm
If I wanted to give my digital tickets for this weeks game to someone (I’m a season ticket holder, these are the only game I’m giving to someone), how do I do it?
Do they have to create an account on lsu ticket website? I’m not selling them, just giving them to my friend

re: LSU Paths to SEC game simplified

The tiebreakers are so confusing, I was wrong.
To be fair, based on tiebreaking rules, all we need is to win out, Alabama and Tennessee lose at least once in SEC game

LSU would not lose on tiebreakers unless they are one of two SEC teams with 3 losses. Only way in is a massive 3 loss tie

This is wrong. We need way more to go down. Tiebreakers between 3 or more teams are done with a round robin using head to head records.
The real path… (LSU must win out)
Week 12: Arkansas, USCe, UGA all win
Week 13: Auburn over A&M, Florida over Ole Miss, UK over Texas, Oklahoma over Alabama
Week 14: Texas over A&M, Vandy over Tennessee
This puts LSU vs UGA in SECG

I mean, I am not hosting a tailgate. Lol

I am not tailgating, but will have people that will want to walk around and hang out.
First SEC game, how’s the crowd?

With the game being at 6:30, and this is my first time ever going to a SEC game, what is a good time to get there?
Assume I have kids and need to wait for babysitter so I’m trying to figure out a good time to drop them off and go.
Is 2pm too late for parking? When should I get there? I don’t mind parking by the Agriculture building

I’m bringing my stepdaughter to her first game in Tiger Stadium Saturday and wanted her to see the team and band walk down the hill. About what time do they do this? How long before game?

White didn't have a choice, if he did, he would have gone because he was a 1st rounder after last season. This year was just cake

DARY
In 2021, Gonzaga upset us in the same situation
Posted by tadelatt on 5/31/24 at 1:05 pm
We were a 2 Seed in Oregon and got shut out by Gonzaga 3-0, only to come back and win the Regional.
And....
This game is not over yet. We just need to get some baserunners and better strike calls from this terrible ump
