30+ games, 12k attendance at least, avg ticket price is $15 - That’s at least $180,000 per home game.
$5.4 million in just ticket sales each season. Sponsorships, suites, boosters, etc… are extra.

Well, he did it in a couple months when everyone else was finishing up. Did anyone expect lsu to win a title next year without wade recruiting for a full year?

Freshman are 18-19, years old. They didn't start the year but eventually became starters. They need time to develop. You can't win Sec games without pitching and with multiple true Freshman starting.
We won 2 titles in 3 years because we had a 1-2 pitching duo not because we could hit Homer's.
We lost our two starting pitchers, which if you recall should've had us taking Vandy on the road. We didn't start struggling until we lost our two starting pitchers and then Brown.
Yorke was a dud too.
We had bad luck this year and it put us in this spot.
Next year, we will have a lot of experienced guys returning and we will turn it around. Sorry we can't win the title every year but mistakes happen.

Yorke needs to figure out how to hit a line drive to left field, or a double...anything else besides swinging for the fences. He has 30 K's, 3rd on the team, but also leads the team in OBP, which is nuts cause he hits .240.
What that means to me is he only swings at pitches he can hit over the wall. He has a good eye but needs to be taught how to put the ball all over the field.

I love how people think we stink because we aren't in 1st in the SEC but this years league is stacked and we are not. Our pitching has been a very big reason but also the lack of discipline on the field. Mental mistakes and errors that have cost us big time.
Injuries as well, Cooper Moore might be out for the year but he has been hurt for awhile now too.
This also proves you can't win a title without Defense. We have won games by outscoring teams, not shutting them down. But a win is a win and if the talent can come together at the right times, we cna make a run.

Our main issue is leadership.
The portal might bring in talent but you can't teach leadership in sports at this level. You either are a leader or you aren't.

Look at the schedule...
This started with Northeastern and ULL, carried over into Sac State and put us in a 1-4 hole heading into our first SEC series, on the road in Vandy.
However, let's look at the games...
1st Series: Game 1 Loss 12-13 (Vandy needed 3 Runs in Bottom 9th to pull it out)
2nd Series: Game 2 Loss 3-4 (Oklahoma needed 3 runs in the 8th)
3rd Series: Beat Kentucky
4th Series: Go to Tennessee and Win, things started to feel better
5th Series: Go to Ole Miss, they scored 3 in the 8th to take the win in Game 1, Game 3 was almost one of the greatest comebacks I have watched since UC Irvine but we lose and get swept, ouch.
6th Series: Texas A&M flat out beat us. We didn't give up, we just could not hit the baseball. It looked like a golf ball coming across the plate.
We are a couple innings away from 3 more wins in SEC.
It is silly to analyze like this but at this point we need to win all the mid week games left, 3 more wins if so...plus go into State and catch them sleeping on us as they look ahead to their final 3 series (at #4 Texas, #9 Auburn, at #7 Texas A&M). They can easily look past us thinking we are a sinking ship. Meanwhile, we treat each series like Omaha and our backs against the wall...
Imagine we go 4-0 this week, come home to CPM returning to Alex Box (Edit for clarity: I am being sarcastic and South Carolina is struggling much harder than we are), take out USC 3-0, take out Tulane....
8-0 brings us to 31-18 (12-12) but it also reminds the SEC that we aren't finished.
Now we head to UGA knowing what is at stake...that weekend now becomes our season. We dont need 3 wins, just 2. Take that series and we are now 33-19 (14-13) and heading home to face Florida, who could be 15-12 or 16-11 by then, or better if they shock the Aggies.
We win 2 at Home against Florida, we finish 35-19 (16-14)
This isn't insane especially seeing the schedules and now we aren't going into State as the top seed in the SEC.

They gave us Alabama/Texas/Tennessee/Arkansas to finish the year.
Not to mention sending us in late November into the colder schools of the SEC.

He was one of those kids who committed to LSU but was never coming to school. He was probably making sure he had negotiation powers and a backup plan if he didn't like the team that drafted him

I keep seeing all these transfers leaving or changing their minds about LSU but that’s not an issue. In fact, it makes me even more excited to see what happens after April 9th when the Tranfer Portal opens
