Both quarterbacks clearly suck. But at least with Shedeur, you can salvage some fan support, and hold out a tiny bit of hope that he improves and learns how to effectively play the quarterback position.
It's amazing how the Browns organization is constantly filled with terrible decision after terrible decision.

The irony in this is the Browns can actually have a decent young roster. They had a home run draft class last year. Schlesinger is a potential all pro LB, Mason Graham looks solid, Judkins looked good, Harold Fannin Jr looks good. In this years class both Fano and KC Conception look good out the gates. They have multiple 1’s next year.
The QB drama has been so bad it’s overshadowed some decent recent drafting and player personnel.

Deshaun Watson's contract contains a built-in poison pill. If he's on the roster next March 13th, a $200M salary guarantee kicks in. This affords Cleveland the opportunity to designate him a Post 6/1 release before 3/13, which splits the remaining dead cap into: 2027: $34.6M 2028: $51.5M
