Terrible. Don’t come in the hole flat footed and straight up, especially against a guy like Skattebo.
Glad to see another Sunday with the refs inserting themselves though

That's maybe the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen.

Just go ahead and give them flags at this point. You know it’s coming.

Are they trying to make people quit watching football?

How in the world is that a penalty? Reminds me of Fournette against A&M and Auburn.

What are we even doing here?

Nonsense like that is why they need to allow coaches to challenge flags. The amount of flags thrown is ridiculous, every big play or sack you hesitate waiting for a flag. It’s bullshite

The announcers obviously asked the rules guru every channel has, and he said:?

The only logic I put to this is that he lowered and led his head. It’s more about protecting him than protecting the player he ran over.

Idc who my boss is, what my marching orders are, or how much money is supposedly on the line, if I'm the white hat I'm not calling that shite. I woudln't be able to look at myself in the mirror the rest of my life for calling unncessary roughness on a RB, with the ball, on a run, through the line of scrimmage. I mean what in the frick

The USFL has been experiment with rules that the NFL eventually adopts. I wonder if they would ever go to the drastic experiment of going without helmets. That's always an argument that get brought up that players would be a lot more cautious if they didn't have armor to launch at people. Well, I know they will never do it, but I'd like to see it.

If I remember correctly this was a rule put in because of Trent Richardson. He was fond of lowering his head hitting defenders. I believe it’s only for in the tackle box.

I’ve seen this called at the high school level one time when a d1 rb ran over a scrub. At the time it was called targeting and they threw him out of the game
