Had they only known dunks that barely made it over the rim were the key to success they probably wouldn’t have tried all of those reverse dunks and windmill dunks. Hell, Rudy Gay did the exact same dunk as Parker and didn’t even make it to the second round

Exactly...which is why she ought not be in a dunk contest with actual guys who dunk all the time.
This is the equivalent of finding some divorced dad who occasionally cooks some nights and pitting him up against professional chefs, and then giving him top honors for making spaghetti adequately well.
That said...this is not the first time we've seen this show. It's like some of us have forgotten this year...
Since he was 5'7", it was AWESOME! Of course, he beat a bunch of guys doing much better dunks, including Dominique Wilkins.

I was wondering the same. I looked her up and it says she's 6'3". To me, and I could be wrong, it didn't look like she was getting enough of a vertical for her arm to be that much higher than a 10' goal.

Yeah...that's my point. Spud was doing things every guy there was and could do better then him, plus lots less...but because he was only 5'7" his ability to do the mundane was considered great in comparison to more talented guys doing things far harder because we knew they were better able to do them.
Same with her. We know women can't do these things, so when one can barely do it, she looks like a superhero to some people and is treated as if what she's doing is so earth shattering that it must be better than everyone else.
Yeah...Spud was closer in talent to what his peers were doing, but it's literally the same shite. He got extra points for being tiny compared to his taller and more athletic competitors. There was nothing he did that everyone there could not have done, but what he did was the very limit of his ability and there were none of the dunks the rest were doing that he could have done.
