re: Receive or Defer?

I always defer. Only reason I would take ball first is if I’m extremely confident I can score on their defense first drive with a specific matchup or scheme.

But the BK plan of take the ball and go 3 and out was absolute bullshite.

Where to get fitted in BR?

Specifically looking for a driver fitting.

I use lostgolfballs and never had an issue. Were you buying the mint?
There are only 11 P4 teams with a weaker SOS than ND. Give it up

This is a tougher schedule than any non SEC or Big 10 teams, and it's arguably tougher than some of the Big 10 teams that are ranked. No FCS games and 2 G5, one of which is Navy who is a 100 year rival that has 21 wins the last two seasons. . Don't give me that shite about playing in a conference championship game. 2017 Bama and 2024 OSU didn't play in their conference championship game and went on to win the natty, and 2017 was still a 4 team playoff. 41% of P4 teams in the 12 team playoffs did not play in their conference championship game.

Found the dumbass ND fan!

The point is ND has a cake schedule and avoids yet another tough game by not playing in a conference. Join a conference.

On top of the above posters destroying your argument, here’s some more data.

Big 10 ranked teams SOS:
Ohio State - 8
Oregon - 26
Indiana - 33
USC - 19
Michigan - 16
Washington - 25
Penn State - 62
Iowa - 38

and it's arguably tougher than some of the Big 10 teams that are ranked.

I just proved it wasn’t.

ND’s SOS IS 56TH

Where does the narrative come from that ND is consistently overrated?

They play an extremely easy schedule every single year, don’t play a conference championship game, can still lose 1-2 games and make the playoffs, and still haven’t won a natty in close to 40 years.

Their SOS is 56th. They’re a joke.

I'm talking about when someone drives the ball 200 yards and slices it off the planet, and the advice given to them is to just not play a driver and get better at short game. That player would 100% be better off learning to hit driver over almost anything else.

Yup. This was me. I couldn’t hit driver for the life of me so I would tee off with a 5 iron and get about 210 yards. Eventually I said frick it and need to get somewhat decent with my driver.

Now I’m a 13-14 handicap but have never broken 80. Even when I shoot low 80s, I’m going OB off the tee with my driver 3-4 times a round. It’s killing my scores.

Driver and putter are absolutely the most important clubs in the bag.

Don’t forget we have the greatest offensive minded coach in all of college football
They played one SEC team with a conference record over .500, and lost. The one 4-4 team they played didn’t have their starting QB.

Their 7 wins came against almost the 7 worst teams in the league with a combined record of 12-44.

They beat the 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th place teams in the league.

It was the easiest schedule in SEC history.
7-1 against teams with an 18-46 conference record fyi
They would lose 2-3 games in the SEC every single year. Probably 4 most years.

They play a cake schedule and can prepare for the one or two physical teams they play all year.

It’s not like that in the SEC.
It’s still horrendously idiotic that the biggest antagonist to the throne (and his dragon) would fall hundreds, if not thousands, of feet from the air, get burnt and crushed, and both still live. Then add the fact that his dragon magically comes back to life at the perfect time after “dying.” The storyline is just stupid.

Rhaenys should’ve burnt the Hightowers to hell and back when she had the chance at Aegon’s coronation but of course that would’ve made too much sense.
I saw it was rated a 9.9 so what do I know?
