JD is preparing for the draft, what are yall even mad about? there’s no competition anymore.

The backup QB is always the best. Every coach needs to be fired. LSU is falling behind.
Clockwork. Every single day.
I know one thing, after Nuss’s first interception next season Rickie Collins will be the next Tim Tebow.

It will be more of a 2020 Myles Brennan view in terms of expectations. Most went into that season knowing it was HIGHLY unlikely, if not impossible, Brennan was going to be able to match Burrow's 2019 level of play and adjusted their expectations accordingly. Plus, there was no highly touted recruit or experienced backup on the roster with him. Thus, there wasn't much dissention among the fanbase. Everyone felt Brennan, even if not Burrow, was the best option.
Unless LSU brings in a transfer, that will be the case with Nussmeier. NO reasonable person is going to expect him to match Daniels's season. And there is no one behind him now on the depth chart where you can say, definitively, "that guy is better".

Who are the "Nuss haters"?
Not sure i have seen any.
I have seen folks who wonder why there are such lofty expectations for him based on very limited PT and very mixed results.
I see posters talking about Nuss have "generational arm strength" and similar elite qualities, and i have seen posters who understandably mock these over-enthusiastic posts.
But no Nuss haters, at least that i have seen.
There WERE JD haters, however, and they are still eating crow.

Methinks OP may not be willing to admit where he really stood on that issue this time last year.

I never hated Nuss. However, I hated the jackasses who thought they knew better than the coaches who are with them every day and felt Jayden Daniels gave us the best chance to win.
However I was not a fan of what Daddy Nuss pulled in 2021 and that Coach O actually allowed that to happen.

Considering the watched him throw two interception against Southern, and didn’t waver, no.

I think he was just doing a terrible job of predicting there will be Nuss haters.
He’s probably not wrong. Every critic with psychological issues will find something to criticize. They’ll also blame Kelly for not getting a better QB.
Negatigers by definition will always find something to be negative about unless they see a repeat of 2019.

1. I must have missed that.
2. The child should not have to atone for the sins of the father.

I'd rather see competition from Rickie Collins.
If Nuss and Collins are both good, it speaks well to our evaluations, recruiting, and coaching.

When have you ever heard anybody admit to it on Tigerdroppings?

Did supporting Jayden make me a Nuss hater? I am now fully on the Nuss bus and he has my full support.
For what it is worth, the next starting QB will also have my full support.
