What a game. 3-3 vs Canada with their talent is going to be a huge test. Going to continue to need Hellebuyck to be otherworldly.
“The US choking” narrative has definitely been exaggerated.

We’re having an excellent games. 2nd in overall medal count, 2nd in overall gold medal count. This is our most golds of all time, and close to our highest medal count of all time, 37 at Vancouver.

So most golds ever, and 3rd most medals ever for our team. 2nd in Gold’s, and medals in this Olympics. The Men’s Hockey team can still win minimum a silver, and potentially a gold tomorrow.

I will say, we have missed a few opportunities though.

Chloe Kim silver on half pipe instead of the Gold.
Stolz silver in the 1,500 instead of the gold.
Stolz missing a medal entirely in the Mass Start.
Women’s Curling team dropping 2 straight to lose a medal.
Malinin, missing a medal entirely.

Had all those gone our way, you’re looking at 3 more total medals, and 3-4 more of our medals being Gold.

We’re having a huge Olympics, despite a couple moments we should have done better in. So I take that as a good sign. We’re having a big Olympics despite some mishaps.

Movie was definitely strange, but it was also very intriguing. The horror element, with also the comedic relief in the movie was a great balance. I also loved how they showed each person’s perspective in the movie in different sections. I thought that was unique and well done. I think I scored the movie in the low 8’s. Overall one of the better “horror films” I’ve seen in quite some time.
Olympic Record has already been broken 3 separate times this event, with 2 more pairs to go. Pretty wild.
Stolz is the clear favorite in this event. He can also win the Mass Start, but it’s a much more unpredictable event. He’s setting himself up for an all time Games if he can take home Gold in his last 2 events.
They have as good of a chance as anyone else does.

Baseball is a crapshoot and it’s always harder to predict a baseball champion than it is a football, or basketball one. There is much more parity in baseball, and sometimes it’s about a team peaking at the right time as opposed to the truly most talented team.

My gut tells me they repeat, but that’s also easy for me to say as a diehard LSU fan, because of Johnson, and what we’ve seen LSU do in the last 3 years. I mean LSU is frickin stacked.

If LSU does win it all, some of the talk about Jay possibly being able to surpass Skip in titles, and surpassing USC in titles etc will really heat up.

If LSU wins it all again this year Jay is the absolute best college coach in the country across any sport.
Awesome game. Hoping Finland can beat Canada, but part of me wants us to whoop Canada for the Gold. Finland is really good too.

Still wish we had selected Jason Robertson to be a part of this team.

I think Sweden was a tougher out than Slovakia will be.

We just went toe to toe with a borderline elite Texas team on the road

You have to be trolling. Texas is 17-9, and 8-5 in the SEC after their win against powerhouse LSU.

We have different definitions of “elite”
Will Wade currently beating 16th ranked North Carolina by 20.

Bring him home.

He’s going for 20+ homers this year.

Damn, it’s going to be a fun season again, per usual. LSU flat out raking right now. This isn’t against a shite team either, Kent St. will be competing for a conference title, and a potential NCAA tournament bid.

Brown is going for 20+ bombs this year. Everybody in the lineup is spraying it all over the field right now.
I want to see Noot, but I’m not sure who will get the nod.
Granted, I know nothing at all about Women’s hockey historically, but this has to be the greatest women’s hockey team of all time right? I mean outscoring their opponents 31-1 here at the Olympics, soon to be 5-0, and has not allowed a goal in over 330 minutes of play once this one wraps up.

I mean the second best women’s hockey team in the world by far, is Canada and we beat them 5-0 with ease. Outshooting our opponents by something like 160-170 shots in a 5 game stretch.
118 exit velocity is Ohtani level stuff. Insane for a 19 year old to be hitting that.
3 more strikeouts for a series record as a team. All but guaranteed with 5 to go.
Reversing 2 goals in a 5 minute span is ludicrous. That second one was a hose job.
I think LSU Is going to land 10 of his top 11 when it’s all said and done. Everybody in the top 11 minus Haven.

I just don’t see Lane letting Royal leave the state.

This class is particularly strong for Louisiana this year. 4 5*’s in the state minimum, and I think Houston is going to be elite. A case for the strongest LA class since 2014 when it’s all said and done?
Dobson is one to keep an eye on for LSU moving forward… he’s the #1 ranked CB in the country, and the #3 overall player in the country. Dobson was high on LSU even with Brian Kelly at the helm so that should tell you something. Dobson loves the LSU program and Raymond. If I had to make a prediction, and keep in mind this is VERY EARLY, LSU leads for Dobson right now, and I can see a scenario where he winds up at LSU.
Randy Moss “mooning” the crowd, and Joe Buck having an aneurysm on the brodcast.
