Berry and fumbling

Posted by TigerLifer18 on 12/27/25 at 9:23 pm
Harlem Berry needs Coach Herman Boone to lay into his arse about hanging onto the football. Next time Berry fumbles it he runs a mile.
Trinidad Chambliss
Kewan Lacy
Winston Watkins
Deuce Alexander

These 4 are pretty much a foregone conclusion assuming Chambliss gets his waiver.

I’d like LSU to look into Cayden Lee, a few of their lineman etc.

Will be way over 2. Likely between 5-7.

And 8-7 in comparison to 15-2 last season.

Was Aaron Glenn that big of a difference maker, or is it simply injuries? A 5-6 win difference in a year is more than just some injuries defensively.

Dan Campbell coming back down to earth without Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn. Sheppard has held up okay as Detroit’s DC, but Ben Johnson looks like a savant. Lions go back to mediocrity without him, and he takes the 5-12 Bears, to an 11-4 start.
Himself. It’s time to accept Stroud is a mediocre QB.

He’s a top 15-20 QB. Won’t ever be elite in the upper echelon, but does enough to pile up wins with an elite Houston defense.

His rookie season was awesome, but there is more evidence his last couple of seasons to show he’s exactly what he is.

Pretty sure the fan deserved it

Yeah, getting called a mean word makes it okay to hit a fan in the face. Metcalf is making millions, dude should be smarter than that, but clearly he isn’t. You probably think it’s alright for someone to pull a gun on someone over a word too.
Chambliss, Lacy, Alexander, and Watkins change the offense overnight.

LSU is getting one of the best QB’s and RB’s in the country in the blink of an eye with them 2.

Alexander would be a huge get. He has 787 yards on 59 touches. 123 of that are rushing yards, he’s real dynamic.

Watkins would still have 3 years of eligibility, and Alexander would still have 2 years of eligibility. Although, Alexander I think will be a high draft pick after next season.

Durham transferring isn’t ideal, but not anything to lose sleep over. He’s regressed in a big way this season. Some of that could be Frank Wilson, but Durham had terrible vision this season, and looked like he lost a step. Wasn’t quite the burner he was last year. Couldn’t find a hole to save his life.

I expect Kiffin to snag 2-3 RB’s in the portal. Lacy and Berry gives LSU a top tandem in the country, if not the best.

Landing Stewart and the Ole Miss guys sets LSU with a foundation to be a top team in the country next season. Of course there will be plenty more transfer adds than just these guys.

I also hope LSU goes after Cayden Lee Ole Miss WR.
Yeah clearly Tulane and James Madison were outmatched. But this is going to set up an all time slate for the Quarterfinals.

Tech vs. Oregon, IU vs. Bama, Ole Miss vs. Georgia could all go down to the wire. The only game I see being more than a possession is Miami vs Ohio St, even then I think it’ll be a 31-21 type game.

re: CBB Texas Tech vs Duke

Christian Anderson is legit for Tech. Texas Tech sports went from a perineal nothing in just about everything to having a top flight Football and Basketball Program in the span of 7 years.

Coincidentally Tech Baseball went into the gutter in the last half decade. Tech Baseball used to be the only thing worth a crap for em.
I know Chambliss has been doing this. I didn’t know if he was the best LSU could do for next season fully. Lots of good QB’s will be out there.
Lester Earl trying to make a witty diss to show he’s the smartest guy in the room. You should stick to your race baiting and try and pump up your post numbers. You’re almost at 300,000. I forget Lester used to be an NFL scout.

LSU transfer targets from Ole Miss

Posted by TigerLifer18 on 12/20/25 at 4:50 pm
I’d be ecstatic if LSU plucks basically the entire Ole Miss offense.

Trinidad Chambliss QB
Kewan Lacy RB
Winston Watkins WR
Cayden Lee WR
Deuce Alexander WR

WR Harrison Wallace, WR De’Zhaun Stribling, TE Dae’Quan Wright would all be big pieces but are all seniors so I’m not sure if they have any eligibility remaining. Hoping for that waiver for Chambliss too.

Ole Miss can really spread it out. One thing I love about Kiffin and his gameplan and eye for talent is everybody eats. Ole Miss has 5 guys with over 500 receiving yards, and Watkins has 400 as a freshman.

Pair up this Ole Miss offense Kiffin and Weis Jr. with LSU’s defense and Baker, and LSU is going to be rolling as soon as next year.

Been on the fence about wanting Chambliss, or a guy like Leavitt, Joseph etc. Chambliss has me sold. He’s tearing it up today.

Charlie Weis Jr. has run out of Lane’s scripted plays he left him

Weis needs to stay there

Ole Miss is pacing for 528 yards of total offense.

Is Weis shite if Ole Miss doesn’t drop 1,000 yards of offense today? What’s y’all’s measure?

re: Are we getting Dylan Stewart?

Posted by TigerLifer18 on 12/20/25 at 12:47 pm to
Honestly Stewart is going to be worth the price tag he wants.

Stewart is a possible 1.1 pick in the 2027 draft. He’s projected as that right now by multiple websites. His stats aren’t Clowney like, but the production he puts out per his snap count is top tier. When he’s out there, he’s a game changer.

If LSU can land the projected #1 pick in the draft, you do it every time.
Hoover is good, but a turnover machine. He’s not a dual threat at all, and I’d prefer someone who gives LSU more versatility, Chambliss, Leavitt, or Joseph.

CFB is wild nowadays.

So if NIL existed 10-20 years ago, Andy Dalton, and Trevone Boykin would have upped and left TCU? It’s just wild to see some of these mercenaries leaving their schools for nothing more than a few more dollars. Hoover has been at TCU for 4 years now. Gone are the days of a player sticking out his whole career at once place.
He should have worked a better deal out for himself for Avatar. Maybe he couldn’t get it at the time because he wasn’t widely known.

It’s pretty well known they wanted Matt Damon to be in Worthington’s role in Avatar, and offered him 10% of the box office for the franchise. That means Damon turning that down lost him over 500 million.

Avatar 2.9 Billion at the box office, Avatar: The Way of Water 2.3 billion at the box office. 5.2 billion, or 520 million for Damon.
I realize your post is satire, but a legit piece LSU needs to look into from Jacksonville State is WR Deondre Johnson.

Deondre Johnson this season

30 receptions
724 yards
6 TD’s
24.1 YPC (1st in the nation)

Deondre Johnson is a freak of nature at 6’8. He runs close to a 4.4 40.

I watched him in a couple of Jacksonville State’s games late in the season and the dude is a freak and had a couple of big games.

I mean 6’8 running a 4.4 40 is video game stuff. 24 yards per catch led the country.
As the backup, sure.

The QB position for LSU next year is the biggest piece. Entrusting the faith of our season on Austin Simmons seems brash. What Kiffin wants, I trust at the end of the day though.
I didn’t care much for Savannah but she far and away deserved the win. Soph did much better than I expected at Final Tribal. Jawan’s vote was completely and utterly useless he even admitted as much to Jeff.

I was rooting for Rizzo. He was annoying at times, but he was at least playing the game, and was convincing others to do his bidding.

If Survivor and Jeff were insistent on 2 contestants from 49 to be on 50, they made the right call with Savannah and Rizzo.

Survivor 49 was probably the worst season I have ever seen, and if I had to guess I’ve probably seen every episode of 40-45 of the seasons.

Done with 49… now onto 50. I’m really excited about 50. I think they are going to go all out. The new era has had too much of the same, and stagnant gameplay, if anything 50 brings back a bunch of characters and a bunch of people who actually will play the game. That’s what made Survivor so great to begin with.

re: Brice Brown Karr Head Coach

Posted by TigerLifer18 on 12/17/25 at 10:50 pm to
I’m all for Brice Brown joining LSU in some capacity.

He’s 128-17 overall at Edna Karr. He’s been the HC there for 11 years now, and gone to the state championship 8 of those years, and won it all 6 of those years.

He would recruit New Orleans and the state as a whole at a big level. His connections in the Louisiana HS ranks would be the cream of the crop. His demeanor is great on the sidelines.

I have no clue what role he would have at LSU, or even what his coaching specialty is.

LSU only has to fill Special Teams coach, DL coach, and LB coach.

It’s possible the guy from Florida will be LSU’s special teams coach and Baker still coaches the LB’s.

Brice Brown as the next d-line coach maybe?

Jabar Juluke took the same route from Edna Karr HC to a college position coach and has done that for more than a decade now.
Southlake definitely is. But they have had a minor hiatus for Southlake’s standards in the last 14-15 years.

Allen went on a big run in the 2010’s, North Shore and Duncanville have become powerhouses in the last decade, and some of the Austin schools have taken some of Southlake’s shine away.

Southlake hasn’t won State in Football since 2011 I believe. They used to have the most state championships in Texas HS Football history with 8.

Southlake has however lost State twice in the last 5 years.

Definitely still one of Texas’s powerhouses. But have not won State since 2011. If you go back 15 years Southlake was the absolute powerhouse of Texas HS Football.
