Dude they had 3 timeouts burned on that drive to preach to the kids to play safe and no stupid penalties after they fricked themselves on a late hit earlier in the drive where they would have gotten it back with all 3 timeouts.

I don’t like it either. I would have loved to see ND with a chance to try and take the lead or win it. They fricked up not the refs.

Take emotion out of it it was roughing all the way. Coaches could have played it safe and not rush anyone when all you had to do was gain possession. They had trouble stopping you all game.

I was there as a neutral spectator. The refs didn’t cost them the game. Rule was applied to a tee. That’s roughing. Period.

So if I'm hearing you correctly, this would not count toward their regular season record correct?

If not why the frick would a coach play their starters and risk injury against quality competition in a game that doesn't count? You'd have more opt outs than you have already.

Also, these games are played in warm weather stadiums in December for a reason. Anybody want to play in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl in fricking August? :lol:

I believe his main focus will be to watch as many position groups as possible and evaluate the talent that he has to help make a plan for the portal.

Can't do that if he's coaching QB Drills or focused only on the Offense.
