Disappointed!!! I think 8-4 should be the floor. 10-2 the ceiling.

re: Tired of hearing “WR’s aren’t getting enough separation”
Posted by vshouse on 9/22/26 at 9:38 am to DhanTigers212
Receivers are getting open, however Sam is missing some throws but the biggest issue is he bails out to early, slight pressure and he’s running, even when there’s no pressure he bails a lot.
re: Chambliss or JD5?

I think Chambliss is a better pure passer and reads the defense better, but JD 5 is the better runner.
re: Are the receivers not getting separation or is Leavitt not hitting open receivers?
Posted by vshouse on 9/20/26 at 5:25 pm to John Rambeaux
I saw receivers coming open on several plays, but Sam was bailing out to fast, sometimes no reason to bail either.
Zone Coverages in 1st half cost LSU the game!!
Posted by vshouse on 9/20/26 at 2:46 pm
All the zone coverages and soft cushions in the first half allowed was the difference in the game. It allowed Chambliss to pick it apart, we would have been better off in man coverage with weeks spying.
Curly Hallman!!! Not even close!
re: LSU's Redzone Offense
Posted by vshouse on 11/12/25 at 9:55 pm to searcyagent
What Red Zone offense???? I didn’t know they had one!!
Because he wants to coach again and get a max contract. If he does that before he agrees to a lump sum with LSU, then LSU only owes him the difference from the amount of his new yearly contract and the 10 million lsu owes per year. So why not take a buy out then go sign another 8-10 year 8-10 million LSU owes a year contract.
re: Anyone else think LSU has a stellar performance next Saturday?
Posted by vshouse on 10/31/25 at 7:22 pm to GrizzlyWintergreen
In order to have a stellar performance that offensive line would have to be much better, and that’s where my apprehension lies!!!
re: Why would Kiffin leave Ole Miss for LSU?
Posted by vshouse on 10/26/25 at 7:52 pm to siliconvalleytiger
Recruiting!!!! Louisiana is way more fertile of a recruiting ground than Mississippi!
He is a mastermind at hiding his offensive schemes till their last second. He’s hard to gameplan against. However I do think he needs a good DC and ST coach to be elite.
re: Here’s the breakdown of what happened in regards to Brian Kelly situation
Posted by vshouse on 10/26/25 at 7:13 pm to The_Whispers
It’s reported that his 54 million dollars is to be paid out monthly through 2031. If he gets another head coaching job or media job it affects the payout amount.

THat would be just pure ignorance.
re: Huge miss bringing in Brown and Anderson and not Concepcion
Posted by vshouse on 10/26/25 at 11:44 am to Shanks A Lot
Wouldn’t have mattered, because we can’t push the ball down the field anyway. Not with Nuss and this o-line.
Joe Brady has no want to come back to college!!
re: MVB’s first throw after coming in had more velocity on it than any Nuss throw this year
Posted by vshouse on 10/26/25 at 11:38 am to OrdainedMoney
There is no doubt that the offense move more fluidly behind vanburen. The ball has way more velocity, he uses the middle of the field, and when the play breaks down he can take off to keep you out of 2nd and 17’s.
re: The “You’re Spoiled” comment by Kelly to Reporters
Posted by vshouse on 10/22/25 at 10:42 am to tigerbait3488
Yes!!! We are spoiled, we are spoiled because of all the previous tiger players and coaches that have come before Brian Kelly to pave the way for success and championships to be expected at LSU!! I for one am not willing to give up that expectation for this university, if that’s what you feel than you were definitely not the guy for this program and it’s time for you to move on!!!
re: A question for those who were around to remember
Posted by vshouse on 10/21/25 at 7:20 pm to LSUfaninArkansasland
The biggest difference is that a lot of people still like Les but just felt like the game had passed him by and he wasn’t willing to change his offense with the times!! With Kelly he has never fit in here, was never really embraced as one of us and is not having success!!
Sure glad we got him!!!
re: I think in some way this loss is going to make this team better.

Can’t make it worst
You’re right!!! It’s the defenses fault that we had 50 yards rushing on one of the worst run defenses in college. Even on a 3 man front we couldn’t run the ball…..that damn defense!! LSU offense can’t score points…..damn defense!!
