2006 Arizona at home was one of the biggest arse kickings I can recall.
2003 at Arizona was as well. 59-13 rout, en route to our first natty in over 40 years.

2007 Virginia Tech is the one that always stands out in my mind.

Hate to say it Bama on 1-9-2012 was damn near perfect
My first remembered example was Fla State in 83, with the oranges and fog.

The Va Tech game was a beat down for sure!

I still think that 2005 team is a natty team if not for Katrina

This first half was as close to perfect as a team could have. The Ole Miss and Vanderbilt first half were also pretty damn close to perfect performances.
Arkansas after a few drives turned into a damn near perfect game as well. If it wasn't for 2-3 drives its very possible we hang 80 points on em.

What was the most near perfect game you can remember?
quote:
This first half and the Ole Miss first half that year were unlike anything I'd seen.
One (slight) disappointment was the Alabama game in 2019 was trending towards "perfect" in the first half. LSU had 8 possessions. They resulted in 4 TDs and 2 FGs. Alabama's offensive possessions were: Fumble, fumble, punt, punt return TD (that was crazily the result of a horrible facemask by LSU), stoned on 4th down, 64 yard TD pass (caused by the coaching staff getting Stingley to look to the sideline while the ball was snapped), punt, interception.
LSU's defense was actually playing great in the first half. You could see and feel the sheer astonishment in the stadium going into halftime because no one had manhandled Alabama like that in the Saban era.
And LSU should've blown it open in the 3rd. Leading 33-13, LSU took the second half kickoff and marched to about the bama 35. Burrow was set to throw what looked like a crossing pattern to Jefferson or Marshall that was open, but the left guard missed his block and the bama lineman tipped the pass as it was thrown, and it was intercepted.
We score there and it's 40-13. Game over. Would've ended up about 53-27.

2019 Texas A&M
Even had a safety
My vote for best: 2007 VTech. Payback for 2002.

The 3rd quarter of the 2011 Auburn game was a complete annihilation. Whole game wasn’t perfect as Auburn put up a good fight in the 1st half, but shite got sideways for them quickly in the 2nd.

That’s an easy one. LSU vs Clemson for the championship. We spotted them fourteen points so as to make it interesting, and still stomped their guts out

That I saw in person? 2019 vs the aggies... dirt rolled them.
Not in person, the 2019 OU game. I don't think we will ever see anything like that game again. Unreal

I came to say both of those
2006 Arizona is up there
50-7 against aggy as well

There was a State game where LSU never punted.

LSU - Auburn 2011. Offense, defense and STs LSU was out for blood. 45-10
Biggest arse whooping would be 2019 LSU 50-7 over A&M.

Purdue had no players.
The fact that we didn’t relax and go through the motions is what matters. We played to our potential and not down to our opponent.
Very satisfying to watch.

It has to be this for 2 reasons. One, the announcer literally said "Oh come on" just before Moss caught that long td as even the announcers were waiving the white flag for OU; and second, the OU message boards were literally talking about slavery/breeding and that's why LSU had an unfair advantage dominating them. When you resort to that level of grievance, it means your will and soul have been destroyed beyond repair.

007 - LSU vs. Va Tech (48-7)-
It was also one of my favorite games. Va Tech was a great measuring stick. When we won I knew we had a "Damn Strong" team.
Only imperfection, to me, was Alexander, our starting DT, was injured and missed the rest of the season.
