Worst weather event you experienced at an away game
The last time LSU played in Knoxville, I took my boss, and two of my grandsons. We were expecting a light rain so we dressed appropriately with ponchos and umbrellas.
Our seats were on the very top row. When the pregame jets flew over, we could have reached out and touched them. The wind was blowing so hard it bent one of the goal posts and knocked a huge panel out of the jumbotron that fell into the seats.
The rain was moderate until halftime. But when the teams returned from intermission, the deluge would have scared Noah to death. Everyone started to head for the exit. Us being on the top row, guess who was last to get to shelter.
By the time we got back to my truck, we might just as well have jumped into a swimming pool. I told my grandsons to strip down to their skivvies, turned up the heater and headed home to Georgia. The good news: Tigers won!

I remember a South Carolina game where we had similar weather. Was nuts

Orlando for the Notre dame bowl game.
1/1/18
I believe it was the coldest day in Orlando history. Blowing rain most of the game and really cold, especially for central Florida.

That South Carolina game was in tiger stadium not an away game. I believe it was 2007 with a lot of rain.

Yep, I was there as a student. Spent a lot of time standing by the concession during that delay

It was also the “frick you, Spurrier” game and the game with the first “you suck, Cocks!” Which was clever, and very quickly became not clever when it simply became “you suck cocks!” directed at other teams…

The only bad weather road game I recall attending was vs. Mississippi St. in 2009. It began pouring right at kickoff and stayed that way for most of the first half. The sun then came out towards the end of the game and it was incredibly muggy.
I was also at Notre Dame in 1998. The weather was clear. But is was cold. For the ND fans it probably wasn't that bad. For a southern kid it was bone-chilling.

LSU vs aTm.... 96.
Hot as frick. And the overwhelming gayness of the aggies only added to my misery.

2000 Arkansas.
It was cold, rainy, and miserable. We lost 14-3.

it wasn't a weather event but I woke up in the middle of the night to piss and stumbled backwards into an overturned chair that tried to butt rape me.

My family has always been lifetime LSU fans and we travelled up to that game to bring my 90 year old grandmother to that game since she didnt have long to live. She was born and raised a Tennessee fan and this was one of her last wishes to go to a game. We were about 40 rows up when the bottom dropped out causing the power to go out in the stadium. I then had to carry my 90 year old grandmother back up 20-30 flights of stairs in the rain. Regardless of it being a football game, that was one of the worst storms ive ever seen. Hell of a memory.

At notre dame was pretty cold. Don’t remember if it snow at the game but definitely the day before.
Shreveport for the Indy bowl against notre dame was shitty. Bourbon had me warmed up nice.

My answer as well. I was at Tennessee 2017 with my dad, it was miserable. I remember that the rain was so intense to start the 2nd half that UT lost the ball on the kickoff.

have only been to 1 away game.
clear skies, warm weather (but not hot), slight breeze

in terms of heat, the 2018 game at Auburn was just brutal. They had us in the NE Corner upper deck facing the sun (which is not unusal for visiting fans, just reinforces the heat.) I was thrilled we won but so glad to finally leave. Just stifling.

Tennessee 2017. You could barely see the Field.I remember the morning of the game looking on Stubhub and finding tics on the 50yd line 52 rows up, overhang started at Row 48. When the rain hit that was the best $$ I ever spent!!!

Florida in 1972..
so much rain that the drains could not keep up..
Florida had synthetic turf...
players would slide up to 10 yards after being tackled
Williams chased down a Gotor to save a TD
game ended as a 3-3 tie; LSU made 1 of about 9 FG attempts
