LSU played very poorly in that Liberty Bowl. It was so frustrating as LSU got an early TD on a Norm Jefferson punt return and did nothing offensively after that. Baylor was only up 13-7 in the fourth quarter, but LSU was hopelessly defeated, as they must have set an NCAA record for three-and-outs. Simply gross.

In the late 1990’s I went to an LSU Arkansas game at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. It rained hard for 4 straight quarters. I bet there wasn’t 7,000 people in the stands the entire game. I’ve never been to a SEC game that even remotely had so few people in the stands.

When LSU played a Nick Saban coached Michigan State team in Shreveport it had to have been in the low 20’s. Some of those MSU fans didn’t even have shirts on. And they call us southerners stupid. At least it was a clear night.

Another Shreveport game LSU played Notre Dame and it was cold and sort of raining and sleeting. The wind was blowing to which didn’t help matters. A LSU fan ran across the field in a purple speedo. Took the cops a few minutes to catch him. That was pretty entertaining. LSU wore some gawd awful orange jerseys for that game.

LSU Notre Dame game in Orlando was a little chilly with some rain. It wasn’t nearly as bad as the ones above but it still sucked.

I don’t remember what year it was but in the early 2000’s we played Florida and the heat and humidity was just awful. It was the equivalent of watching a game on July 4th.

The last time LSU played in Knoxville,

We went to the same game. It was cold and windy. My wife complained to me before we went about how expensive the seats where. We were under the overhang and never got wet and the wind didn't bother us. I asked her, if she still minded how much I spent. She said, not at all

Knoxville was a lot of fun, and we enjoyed our visit

But when the teams returned from intermission

I was hunkered down inside the stadium watching it rain up, down and sideways. Never seen anything like it and have been through multiple hurricanes. I remember a couple of guys near me had pulled up the game on their phone. I was shocked they started the second half.

1988 in tiger stadium. I know it’s not a road game but I never made it to a road game. Miami came to town and brought a hurricane with them. Bad storm right at game time. High winds and an incredible down pour. Not a great night at Tiger stadium.

If a bowl game counts as an away game then the (I believe) 1995 Indy Bowl vs. Notre Dame. I froze my arse off.

The manager of one of our suppliers came by at the start of halftime. He was leaving and he invited us to a party at their house to watch the second half on TV. We were crazy to turn him down, but we stuck it out.

I was in Casper, Wyoming one winter when it was the coldest spot in the USA a couple nights, but I don’t remember ever freezing my arse off like that night in Shreveport.

‘96 (or ‘94?) Little Rock. Cold as hell and freezing rain the ENTIRE game. LSU won and it was awesome.

It was 1994. I had just moved back to Louisiana from Little Rock and went to that game with some friends in Little Rock. It was Curley Hallman’s last game as he had been fired after the USM game but allowed to coach the last two games. It sleeted the whole damn game. I don’t think I’ve been back to LR since.

Yep. I was there. Water above my ankles rolling down the stands. Umbrellas being sucked out of peoples hands flying around and then out the top of the stadium.

1984 Alabama at Legion Field,Birmingham. Torrential rain the whole game. Tornado symbol on scoreboard at halftime. We won 16-14, but it was miserable.

And the faggies ran the opening kickoff back for a TD.

We were there in Knoxville in 17. What an awesome game. Those planes were LOW.

And I went to bathroom During 3rd quarter. Wind blew the driving rain sideways all the way into the bathroom!
My youngest was loving it. Focused on the game.

Ole miss 2005 was freezing. I was underdressed and still remember the rare bursts of warm steam coming over from the concessions.

A lot of people answered Notre Dame 1998 because of the cold. I was there and it was pretty cold. But I have one that was colder and more miserable than that-
Tulane 1973.
It was torture to sit through that game and the freezing weather was not the worst of it.

Bowl games get honorable mention. I froze my butt off at two Liberty Bowls in Memphis. And we talked the other day about the Capital One Bowl against Penn State.

I don't see how the game at Tennessee in 2017 can be topped.

Tennessee 2017.

The second half kickoff was a blur. The players couldn’t even find the ball.

At UF in 1982. This is back when they still had turf on Florida Field. It was allegedly 95 at game time, felt like a bajilion degrees!. We were about 20 rows up and they said later on the news that the thermometer topped at 130 and the needle was buried.
The poor guy in the Mike the Tiger suit passed out.

BTW Hillard ran all over that Gator arse that day!
