Knock on wood never had rain at an away game I attended and I usually enjoy the cold. 2018 Auburn was unbearably hot. Upper deck looking right into the sun. We were cooking. They ran out of water in the concessions at half time. Finally got some more about the time the 4th quarter started but it was not even cool. I don’t think I have ever been so happy for a game to end. The fact that we won made it worth it I guess but I was sunburned for what seemed like weeks after.

The 2000 Independence snow bowl was pretty awesome only because it was so out of the ordinary and fairly high scoring in Shreveport Louisiana. Miss State vs Texas A&M. State won 43-41 and it was literally played in a blizzard. But it was pretty cool.

We were there at the tenner game, absolutely soaked. Still went out wet drawers and all had a blast

W’s make the terrible weather games much more tolerable.

Missouri game, don’t remember what year, was freezing cold and snowing the whole game with temps possibly in the single digits. At least it was a basketball game and we were inside the arena.

I was there. The Tiger band performed at halftime, but the Bama band chickened out. It was the last time LSU played against the Bear.

I was at that game too. Two words: Boo Williams.

Neither team could move the ball the whole day. There was a couple in front of me with an infant, and people were looking at them like they were nuts, handing them blankets and such. Awful day.

The last time LSU played in Knoxville

I’ve never been to a road LSU football game before so I can’t add to the discussion. Just wanted to say it’s really weird this thread popped up because I was just talking about the weather for this game at work not even 20 minutes ago.

Miami in 1987 when Steve Walsh was the QB, they smoked us like 44-0 and it was a monsoon most of second half.

Worst weather and worst game, we lost 44-3 to the Canes in 1988. I sat through the whole miserable game.

Knoxville rain in 2017 or the heat at the Oregon game in Dallas

I'll agree that the rain in Knoxville was intense but our worst weather game can not be a game played in an indoor stadium (The Oregon game was indoors at Jerry World)!

Yeah, I was a student at LSU and was at that game. I remember the tornado possibilities. Pulled out a win in not so good conditions.

It all blew over right after halftime, then it turned cold. I remember seeing that Tornado symbol on the scoreboard during halftime.

‘96 (or ‘94?) Little Rock. Cold as hell and freezing rain the ENTIRE game. LSU won and it was awesome.

@ Florida in 1972. The rain was coming down in sheets most of the game. It was a weird game too as it ended in 3-3 tie; Juan Roca for LSU missed a record 8 of 9 FG attempts, including one that would have won the game on the last play.

Some game in the 90s at Fayetteville I froze like never before except around '85 at the Liberty Bowl. We never had a shot at Arkansas but should have beat Baylor that year.

Both games miserable as hell. Coldest I've ever been.
