I did think the whole "family" thing was overblown. Our culture is ultimately about supporting winning programs. If you win, LSU fans will come, no matter where you're from.

To everyone freaking out over the McNeese loss: Baseball is not football. Sometimes you don't get the hits you need, or your pitchers can't find the zone, or the opposing team has a really good game, or all of the above. It happens to everyone, we just need to learn from it and move on to the next game.

I'm kidding, of course. Jay learned from Skip to not be afraid to lose a game like this, in order to know who you can trust in the future. The team will learn a lot from this.

Well, there it is, our first loss of the year. Early on, it definitely felt like one of THOSE games, where nothing goes right. But we battled back, and made it a game at the end, I think that says a lot about this team. See you on Friday :cheers:
