Best bet if NCAA drops hammer may be to see if John Brady would be interested in coaching a few years to get you through this valley. Then go hire someone without ALL of the pile of crap we will soon have as a program.

Exactly.
This most recent saga with Wade has really shined a light on how stupid some of our fanbase is. Wade did this to himself. In my mind he wasn't fired for paying players but for being stupid about how he did it.

Seems most college coaches have always seen Will Wade like bank employees who are all clandestinely embezzling would see the guy that started to empty bags of cash out of the vault into a wheelbarrow in the middle of the afternoon.
LSU has nothing to worry about in it's treatment of Wade. The sanctions he brings on may be another story.

Not being crazy about basketball in the first place, and don’t watch any games, my view from the total outside is that Coach Wade made too many mistakes doing some of the same things that other programs do. Offering “incentives” to family members is risky business because you never know for sure who you can trust. And some will turn on you.
