What good coach is going to come here after seeing how Wade was treated by Lsu?

Knowing of course all the good ones are funneling money to players?
Have we basically waived the flag stating we will only hire wholesome coaches like mike white and trent johnson?

We aren't viewed as an elite and this firing puts the nail in our coffin. We are done, back to irrelevance. Lsu doesn't have stature in D1 college hoops and it seems never will.
My bet is we don't get a big name.

Do you people not realize how fricking stupid his attempts at cheating really were? Paying a bag man from your own bank account? Not only saving texts from an extortionist but turning them over to the NCAA?

Listen, I was A Will Wade fan, but outside of BR this isn’t a shock our outrage to anyone.
Every coach in the country knows if they get caught they’re fricked.

Treated by LSU? LSU allowed him to continue coaching, even after lying to his boss, and putting the university in the position it is in. Any sane coach would look at that as a positive.

This is what hurts. Kansas and Auburn are backing their programs. We have examples now. All other coaches let go with allegations, were let go because they suck.

How Wade was treated? Most coaches hate Will Wade and wanted him fired. Firing him fir getting caught red handed paying people isn’t going to deter coaches from wanting to coach here. LSU being on probation due to Wade’s sloppiness will, though.
We’re not and never have been a destination job to begin with either, so there’s that too.

Same choup. And i cared alot. I went to multiple games every year Wade was here. Its sad what the admin is telling us about how much they care about the program
