There is a video of him on crutches after game. Knee looks likes it’s in an extension brace (keeps knee straight). Hopefully just a hypertension. Don’t think they normally wear that for acl concerns.

I suspect we won’t get a real answer until Monday.
Suspect that today he is getting x-rays, CT, & MRI. Orthopedic types love to get as much imagery as possible.

Where the hell was the cart by the way? Watching him walk all the way across the field like that was brutal

It broke my heart to see that. It was worse than losing the game.

Thats the gift & curse of being a long 6'7 receiver. Most defenders are going to try to chop him down around the knees when he's carrying the ball. Its damn near impossible to protect them at his height.
Also you kind of leave him out to dry running him on drag routes. He is going to have to make a catch running full speed and get up the field and take on a hit.
Should be a deep ball threat and primarily running hitch routes

The most infuriating part is they act like targeting is to reduce neck, long term life threatening injuries, yet with all the time they had to review that hit, they couldn’t see the guy who went in like a missile looking straight at his dick when he made contact?
frick targeting when you won’t call it

A bruised or dislocated knee cap will do the same thing. Dislocated knee cap would require off season surgery. Not a big deal. People who hyperflex their knees know.

Ott just said MCL sprain. About 4 week injury.

Where did he say this? That would be awesome news

think it’s more likely fracture vs ligament based on how he was moving/painful/not putting weight.
Doesnt really matter. Either is basically season ending.
Dear God i hope im mistaken in the severity

At least we know it's not his MCL

tell me you never played football without telling me. knee pads prevent bumps and contusions, they do absolutely nothing for structural damage.
Since you know everything, tell us how you know it’s structural?? What if it’s a bad bruise or a broken knee cap? Would pads help? It’s STUPID they allow them to wear shorts with no knee pads!

No question in my mind we would have won that game if he doesn't get injured, especially on that last drive.

Did he communicate with Marucci or somebody on staff? Did he say that’s what it looked like to him? Did he say that was his best guess?
Anybody can say anything bro..

bs
Leavitt had wide open plays that he could not make. Chambliss made the plays. That is the difference.

Hanny said it’s an MCL sprain. Out 3-4 weeks.

It was Rohan Davey on the Sunday morning show who said it first. Said will have MRI to confirm.
I would imagine he has some sort of connection to Green's family.

While not great, that's much better than what it could have been. Get well TG!!

Why IN THE HELL would we NOT cart his arse off if there was ANY CHANCE it was a serious knee injury.
No one can answer this logically. You take every precaution possible when dealing with a potentially serious injury.
