Jake Brown is the best all around player on the field.. and if Stanny is the best outfielder from a defensive standpoint.. 1, 2, ?
Don’t you think it’s more relevant now than it was in July? Considering we’re in season?
I mean he was CF for the best defensive team in LSU history so..
I love Curiel, and I know it won’t happen bc of recruiting promises, but Curiel is our 3rd best defensive outfielder and it’s been made pretty obvious on a few occasions already this year.

Traditionally I’m more of an “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” type of guy, but JJ knows what he’s doing.

Downvote away!
Kinda hard for the podcast bros to sell this as a “forever war” at this point.

Seems that Trump/Hegseth are putting their foot on the throat and seeking to finish this shite well before midterms.
Every dribble is a carry nowadays. I can never unsee it.
Again.. taking issues of old and using them as an excuse for inaction in the modern day. But not ever as a means for righting wrongs, just bitching about what has been and over criticizing what could be.

They’re too rigid in a world where there is no such thing as black and white anymore.
If you would’ve asked me a year ago I was anti war with Iran. However after we took direct action against their uranium enrichment effort and they still refused to cooperate I’m not sure why recent events have come as such a surprise.

The “Nooo, so what if Iran is chanting death to America and actively working on nuclear capability regardless of our best efforts at negotiation, we need to just leave them alone” attitude that carries over to pretty much all geopolitical issues is why nobody takes them serious.

This. You’ll see it in every one of their Twitter bios like it’s a badge of honor.
Aka the party of armchair quarterbacks.

Is it that they pretend to live in a fantasy world where all decisions should come without consequences?

What about how their immediate reaction to any issue is to bitch without a solution as a counter argument?

Or that they acknowledge said problems until action is taken then criticize the response and speak on what they would’ve done?

Fact of the matter is they are 100% party over country and by far the most smug group in American politics. For comparison, at least the Dems and progressives take action on behalf of what they espouse.

Put Serna’s arse out there for a few practices and give him some ABs. The defense can’t get much worse for the potential trade off you’d get at the plate.

Again, you lose games like this because you lack hunger, effort, seriousness, etc.
Also, they worked our arse from inning #1 in their biggest game of the year.. of course I’d be pumped too if I was their fans.
I’m 99% in the midweek games don’t matter crowd, but while the fact that we’ve lost 3 already doesn’t concern me regarding the W-L outcome of the season, it concerns me that there seems to be no effort until late in the game when starters have been subbed.
Just not a good mentality to see from your “weekend guys”

Their offensive approach was aggressive and it paid off big time. Ours was vanilla, as it has been.

We haven’t done anything creative to manufacture runs, ignite rallies and hopefully wake the bats up these past 5 games.

Remember, Dardar was not a day 1 starter. Big boy at first doesn’t have much job security either, especially when his defense has been mediocre at best.

This is quite obviously the players’ mentality.

How are they rent-a-wins when they’re the games we’ve lost?

Plain and simple.

Our approach to midweek games is piss poor to the point where if I’m JJ I’m starting and subbing bench players who are hungry for PT.

There are a few starters that may not be starters for long. I’m looking specifically at the right side of our infield..
Fun fact; the color guy tonight is Brennan Breaux who played at LSU back in 2016-2017 before he transferred to ULL.
If you go back and watch most of his ABs in the CWS last year you’ll see much of the same. Not sure it’s an injury thing

Unfortunately it seems like he’s only taking home run swings. He’s hit some balls hard but the kid flys out 75% of the time

These umpires are garbage

The ball Dardar was rung up on was easily 2 inches off the inner part of the plate and that double play was about as much of a no doubter as you could get…

Be careful, I brought this up last weekend and it didn’t go well.

Very seldom have I seen a more disinterested star player and it’s very strange.
