Can we let Joe Sloan rest this week and let someone else call the plays? There is no way the play calling could be any worse than it has been with Sloan.

Fixed it.

We’re seriously going to have to explain what RPO plays actually are again won’t we…..

If Nuss sits, you don’t get reps the offense need. It’s been said ad nauseam that Nuss is the coach on the field and it’s important to keep that continuity with the young line. He literally gets them in and out of plays based on the game plan and defense look.

Vs Southeastern? Probably Vs UF or Clemson? You’re really taking a chance.

Well, its Southeastern this week, so…

One game against the cupcake so that the starting QB can be fully healthy and not get hurt anymore?

Your premise doesn’t fit friend.

You think there is zero chance the offense gets worse if you substitute the second string QB for the first string QB.

I mean, we’re watching the same games aren’t we?

Might as well just bring back Stephen rivers and Hayden rettig huh? They probably could run it better than Nuss? I bet you think that too lol

Apparently not. You saw Florida’s offense? And you don’t think ours could get worse? Our second string QB would sit behind Lagway.

Not to Jujuan Johnson, he ran a true rpo where the qb was as involved as the rbs and wrs. The guy gets it.

Damn we used to have at least hope with our backup qb when the starter struggled. I thought MVB looked decent at missst. How about Hurley can he throw it?

But there are highlight clips from MS ST that show him hitting tight windows in live game action. So his problem is consistency not ability.

The reason Nuss hasn't been on the injury report is because he hasn't been out OR limited in practice. That's straight from Brian Kelly.

There were numerous reports from fall camp from different sources that accuracy by QBs not named Nuss was terrible. I wouldnt say that is not a verified statement but definitely negates your “zero chance” statement.

I have no problem with MVB playing against SLU and resting Nuss if it comes with a lifetime Rant Ban for anyone who calls for MVB to start instead of Nuss after this game!

To be fair, our D had a lot to do with that.

But this week, against a FCS opponent, there is no reason to play Nuss. Get healthy.

If we can’t beat SLU without Nuss, then nothing else we do this year matters. Nothing. Having a healthy Nuss against Ole Miss is huge.

Maybe he should be. If he can't get enough on a pass to accurately throw farther than 25 yards down field, then maybe he should be.

There are still 10+ games to play, and his arm strength and accuracy seem to be dipping. Rest him.

This is the best LSU defense in a decade and Southeastern hasn't beaten an FBS team since 1980 when they beat East Tennessee State, Northeast Louisiana (now ULM), and Illinois State.

Please explain to everyone what you think the RPO is.
