The one that he released a week and a half after he was fired?

It read like it was written by a PR person in his agents office. Maybe they released it when they did, because negotiations were going nowhere and they wanted to change the public perception of Kelly.

Everything that either side says or releases to the press is most likely posturing.
We still couldn't put the ball in the end zone once we got in the redzone, but it was nice to see some first downs and not the majority of series end in 3 and outs.
Or just have the NCAA employee all officials and coordinate crews for all games. Reviews done in Indianapolis instead of Birmingham.

Nothing wrong with that. If you haven't watched football in a recliner with a blanket, then you are missing out. It's really the only way to watch football.
Which is fine. Give them a vote on anything they won't. There are not enough RINOs in the Senate for them to get any of it past the 60 vote threshold.

The move also likely signals the end for Mark Sanchez.

I'm pretty sure the knife to the chest during a drunken rage signaled the end for Sanchez.
I wonder if it has more to do with the deal with the NFL to aquire the NFL Network in exchange for the NFL getting a 10% stake in ESPN. It would be a bad look for the league to actually own 10% of a company with its name on a Sports book.

Very curious about if an image processing AI would be able to pick up on tells/tendencies if a play is a run or pass

When Joe Sloan was OC, any average fan could do this. A supercomputer definitely could.
Of course he's not coming back but that didn't mean that Verge had to go and kill the fun of the coaching changes board so quickly. The Saban stuff was just starting to heat up and the threads were about to get interesting.
I think Urban would be much more likely to come back to coaching for Penn State than for any SEC job. There is less parity in the Big Ten and a much easier path to the playoff.
Hell no.

He hasn't won a thing since Venerables left for OU. His insistence on not embracing NIL and the portal have allowed the game to pass him by. At this point he is Les Miles with an annoyingly fake Andy Griffith, ah shucks schtick.

He's in his third coaching stop in California. I'm sure he hates it.

4th actually. San Diego St, Stanford, 49ers, and now Chargers.
The real question is, if Scott lined up the buyout money and now Scott is gone, do those donors back out?

As Governor, it is my responsibility to protect the hard-earned tax dollars our citizens pay to the state.

But he's cool giving our tax dollars to billionaire Gaile Benson to keep the Saints in New Orleans.
This is a weird stance for a governor that just signed a new deal to pay the Saints to play in New Orleans for another decade. That is actual tax payer money with no chance of boosters/donors paying it.

I think what he was saying was that if those boosters didn't step up to pay it, the state would've been on the hook based on the language of the contract.

And if they weren't willing to pay the buyout then Kelly would still be the coach. His firing wouldn't have happened before the financing was secured.
Is it recruiting prowess or is it Nike money in the NIL era? That is the big question mark with Lanning.

People want LSU to go back to good ole boy political scene

How is Woodward not a part of that scene?
This feels like when Ted Danson was the anonymous donor on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

With that said, whoever paid it is the man and deserves the recognition.
