I must have missed this. What happened with McAfee on Game Day?

The SEC’s initial lawsuit against LSU claimed that LSU was violating the SEC’s First Amendment right of “expressive association.”

Now, in its amended filing, the SEC is using Lane Kiffin’s “Imagine if we had pro players” comment as evidence LSU lacks “institutional control” and should potentially be kicked out of the conference.

So the SEC claims LSU violated its free-speech rights—but now it is using Lane’s speech against LSU?

LSU did not roster or play either former NFL player against Clemson. A sarcastic one-liner is not a rules violation. The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Take notes on which SEC teams vote to kick us out even if we end up winning the vote in our favor… Will never pull for those schools again and will wish them failure in the future…

Wait you were pulling for other SEC schools? I've always wished bad things for all the other SEC teams (except some of the bottom dwellers).

McAfee on Game Day

“Neck” happened, just like the last time they aired at LSU. I don’t remember there being any reprimands then, but that was pre-Kiffin.

McAfee encouraged the STTDB cheer about 5x on Game Day.

Sanky lacks the temperament and discretion to hold his post.
As evidenced by the fact that his office and the LSU AD were in constant communication regarding the situation PRIOR to the lawsuit filed by Sankey and PRIOR to Sankey's testimony in the TRO suit brought by the players.

If this gets to a point of a vote, the voting members should require LSU to answer all questions from the members to explain what was going on from LSU's perspective and how were they addressing it with the commissioner before the commissioner got all up in his feelz and became pissy. Given a forum to address it instead of the one-sided admonitions and accusations coming from Sankey, LSU should clearly point out that the SEC is being run by an emotional hothead who doesn't have the temperament or business skills to run the conference. If they accept Sankey over LSU, then frick all of them. Tennessee I can see why they'd vote that way, but everyone else shouldn't have an axe to grind against Kiffin other than Ole Piss and maybe TAMU who lives in our shadow.

So by bottom dwellers you mean you were pulling for other SEC schools contradicting yourself? And what if those bottom dwellers vote to kick LSU out? Will you continue to pull for them?

Im sure you won’t answer the questions I just asked but it’s all good. I wouldn’t expect anything less from someone with a room temp IQ.

And as we all know, McAfee signed an NFL contract so he wasn’t eligible to start the chant.

Well, that escalated quickly.

But to answer you question, by using the word except, I made an exception to my statement and not a contradiction. I also never said that I pulled for the bottom dwellers. I made an exception to wishing bad things towards them. There was never a need to wish bad things towards State or Vandy in football when good things never happened for them to begin with.

And ESPN let it air. I can’t imagine it’s a defining moment for a lawsuit. They knew what was coming and could have muted it. They also let motherfricker air with LSU in the tunnel. Again, they knew what was coming.

Ahh yes you said you didn’t pull for SEC schools “except the bottom dweller” and are now trying to argue that you never pulled for them even though you did used the word “except” which would imply that you may pull for them.

GTFO with you’re technicality we ain’t got time for that lil bro

Within the rules yes. Bragging about it to the press, maybe not well thought out. He clearly is poking the league establishment in the eye.

I don't know that reprimands are possible, but I'm positive the league office and every other school president were not happy. After 4-5 times, it was cringe worthy.

Kiffin can say whatever he wants. Can the SEC control his speech?

People on here are not going to like this, but I guarantee you Sankey and several presidents got texts Saturday morning of McAfee's antics during Game Day and the day went down hill from there. The conference leadership was horribly embarrassed by that, then you have Kiffin saying he intentionally made Clemson stay in the locker room as long as possible, followed by the pro player comment. The pro player comment is not what got that ball rolling. It was just what broke the damn. Nothing will come of it. But league leadership is clearly sending a signal.

We get it. Sankey has a tiny pecker. Message received.

This is what I wrote.

It says that I wished bad things for all of the other SEC teams and then made an exception. Nowhere in there did it say that I pulled for the bottom dwellers. It says that I didn't pull against them but there are no implications that I pulled for them.

To clarify it for you, I had hatred and disdain for most of the SEC and was indifferent toward the irrelevant teams.
