I have hated alabama football since the 1960s when I was a kid. Saban has zero to do with me hating alabama.

frick that. I’m hoping for severe decline, and I can rag on them the way they have ragged on us.

Hell no, I would love nothing more than for them to be irrelevant for the rest of time. Between all of the disappointing losses against them, 1/9/12, the tea bagger, their pompous arse fans, Dallas Turner, TJ Yeldon, Louisiana bandwagon fans, and all of the recruiting losses over the years. frick them.

Nothing has changed until they do something about the officiating

My first duty station was Maxwell AFB in Montgomery…I had to put up with every day I was stationed there! Best thing was LSU beating them in 1982 helping usher Bryant into retirement.

I'm the opposite. Nose that Saban is gone, there is not one redeeming quality about Bama.

My hatred for Ba*ma* was maxed out long before Saban.

FTR, it's refreshing to see several others post share my sentiments.

I’ve always hated Bama and it goes way back (1977 LSU grad). I just hated them even more under Saban.

I will always hate Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss and there’s nothing they can do that would diminish that.

I lived through the Bear Bryant years and hated it. When Jerry Stovall beat the Bear in his last season was a monumental moment. From that point until they got lucky and got Saban after Rich Rodrigues was to be hired and then back out and stay at West Virginia they were barely over average.
I resent Saban for taken the Bama job and later stated that he made a big mistake leaving LSU. Many people warned him that he would not succeed in the NFL because he couldn’t deal with the over paid professional athletes.
Bama fans think that they are god’s gift to football.

You would have loved most of the years between 1983 and 2006! With the exception of the short time under Stallings, BAMA was at best, mediocre

1983-1999 Bama was 11-5-1 against LSU. LSU did not have any consecutive wins in that time. That was nothing to love as an LSU fan because we were just as bad or worse.

Saban and Miles from 2000-2007 were 7-1. From 2000 - 2011 they were 9-3. Then the dark days. Currently, LSU is 11-14 vs Bama since 2000.
