TBH - Hatred for Bama diminished

Now yes, I will still view it as one our top matchups of the year and want them to get fall to mediocrity for the remainder of history
But I think I’m realizing my hatred for Bama was 70% Saban and 30% Bamas dominance. And without a former LSU coach winning nattys there and the very real possibility that Bama doesn’t continue to stay as dominant, I feel like I find myself feeling more animosity for Florida or A&M. Maybe it’s cuz I’ve only grown up with Saban as the Bama coach, but it kinda just feels like some other SEC school to me now than scum of the earth, RTWFU. How do I get my Bama hatred back?:(

Screw that! I’ve been around that entitled, self important fan base for five decades and they are assholes to the core!

You would have loved most of the years between 1983 and 2006! With the exception of the short time under Stallings, BAMA was at best, mediocre.
If you don’t think those folks are arrogant, just look at how they handled Saban’s retirement. “We will have a new coach in 72 hours.” When the wheels come off under the Vince Lombardi of the NAIA, watch how quickly that statement comes back up…

I never ever had a problem with Saban or Alabama. It the officiating office that resides in Alabama. What makes fans hate the Alabama team is the one-sided officiating that goes on when Alabama plays another tough team in the SEC.
If games were called fairly, Other SEC fans would not hate Alabama so much.

Man some of y'all are predicting their downfall before they even take a snap under their new coach. They aren't going to drop off a cliff. Even TAMU is 2-2 against LSU in the NIL era. All they need to do is continue to get good recruits and they will be competitive.

Nope! Hate Alabama…pull for them to lose every game in every sport. Only 2 ways I hope they don’t lose: where them beating the other team helps us in some way or if they are playing TAM.

Yeah I’ve rooted for them to help lsu only to watch them blow it. The days of SEC screw that. I can’t wait to watch DeBoer experience the running of the gumps and all the fair weather fans calling for his head each week.
