re: If growth is so good, why don’t affluent areas want it?

Most people who complain about "places being ruined" already live someplace nice and just want to pull up the ladder after them.
I live in a town in Montana and it's not some urban hell hole. I'm not trying to tell people where they have to live. People can make their own choices. I just find it ironic that people move to Montana for the scenery, then ruin it by building ranchettes all over the countryside.

People like you are the problem with the countryside being ruined. It's the proliferation of small 'ranchettes' like yours that are destroying states like Montana. Far better for people to live in cities rather than chew up the rural landscape with endless numbers of ranchettes.
re: Who’s the last Democrat you voted for in a state or national election?

Jimmy Carter in the first presidential election I ever voted in. He's the last Democrat I ever voted for at any level.

re: Pat Buchanan is the MAGA we should have gotten

Pat Buchanan was MAGA before MAGA was a thing. A true American patriot. He was also for tariffs to protect American industry.

Did y'all catch the part early in the interview when he was talking about roster building and he said the "previous place" was good "practice" for what they are now doing here. Funny stuff right there that his Ole Miss experience was practicing for LSU!
re: Joe Kent Leaked Charlie Kirk’s Private Texts to Candace Owens

Notice that they want the focus to be on the circumstances of the leak rather than the content of the text messages which clearly show Charlie becoming disillusioned with the Zionist lobby.

But while the U.S. is a net petroleum exporter, it still needs to import heavier crude grades because refineries cannot run only on the lighter crudes from the domestic shale fields. Crude imports account for about three-quarters of U.S. total gross petroleum imports, according to data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA). Nearly 70% of all U.S. refining capacity runs most efficiently with heavier crude. That is why 90% of crude oil imports into the United States are heavier than U.S.-produced shale crude, the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) trade association says.
Question for an oil expert: If most of our oil pulled from the ground is light crude, why are our refineries set up to process heavy crude?

A fricking lot. Probably directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of American soldiers.
This is the correct answer. Iran was the primary source of IEDs during the Iraq War. Those IEDs killed and maimed thousands of US soldiers.

Upvoted except for the part about watching Stranger Things. I wouldn’t let my children watch that garbage. It is mind pollution at its worst. It has all the elements of the worst crap to come across the tube - constantly taking the Lord’s name in vane, promotion of homosexuality, demonic elements, DEI nonsense, anti-military, etc., etc., etc.
Edited to add: also extreme and graphic violence unsuitable for children.

So true. It doesn’t matter what the comparative rates are. Every American citizen’s death at the hands of an illegal alien is one that would not have happened if that illegal alien wasn’t here.

When the GOP nerfed Pat Buchanan, and didn’t allow any conservative to take his place that’s when the neo cons and the big government Republicans took control. They smothered the people again when the TEA party tried to take back control, ensuring another generation would go without real leadership.
Buchanan was the first MAGA who pushed back against the neocons and globalists. A man ahead of his time.
