re: The sheer size of LSU's brand

LSU's appeal of its sports teams far outweighs the state of Louisiana's population.
Dolly Parton spent a great deal of her energy helping other people. As a talented public figure, she was the opposite of divisive.
OP must have failed basic high school government/civics.

UVA beat the tar outta NC State today.
None.

NILSU is run through TAF with zero public money.

LSUAD has ZERO public funds and has not had any since the 1950s.
My understanding is that there are as many as 16 lawsuits already filed across the country on this issue. Definitely one on KY and TX.

re: Hunt Palmer has LSU going 9-3

I think 9-3 is reasonable. Our program is a new one under LK and I do not expect Sam Leavitt to make it into November without injury.

re: LSU as an Independent School

the ONLY place we could go is the Big10. We would lose tens of millions of dollars annually on media rights anywhere else. LSU cannot afford to go independent or to anywhere other than the Big10.
Gonna be hot with local thundershowers all around in the afternoon.

Most fans will wait to see/hear others making noise before joining in.
The ONLY MBB player that the SEC will give us trouble about is RJ Luis.
Theo Vaughn is a worthless POS. Please not him.

Just like real Aggies, real Ole Miss people are in a cult. Both types are pathetic. (And, yes, there are both Aggie fans and Ole Miss fans that do not fit that description. But it is the cultish ones that set the tone at both places.)
There is enough of what made college sports great left to keep me very interested especially in LSU sports. But if I think about it too hard, what college sports has become makes me sad.

Park at Oxford High School and ride the paid shuttle bus. There are several buses. My wife and I have done that at least 5 times in the past 20 years.
I expect LSU to beat Clemson by about 6-7 points. Too much new stuff for LSU to dominate anyone with a pulse.
104.5 has its broadcast tower in East Feliciana parish near Jackson.

104.9 has its tower near Donaldsonville. Neither station is really a Baton Rouge station although its studio is on Government Street in BR.
Alabama had 15K-20K plus fans in TS in the 1990s more than once. UGA in 2018 did that as well, in 2018. No one else ever came anywhere close to getting 15K in TS.

I think, if LSU has played well in 2026, that MOST ticket holders are not gonna sell their seats for Texas coming to town. Texass will have 9K or less in the seats on Nov 14.

re: Best Game You Ever Saw Not LSU

SECCG first time in ATL in 1994. Florida beat Bama 24-23. I have ordered SECCG tickets every year it has been in ATL, since 1994. I sell them when LSU is not playing.
Its our first game and we have so many new players. My guess is it won't be a blowout.
1. No vehicle should be able to park in any LSU lot unless said vehicle's driver has a ticket to the game.

2. LSU should discourage folks from coming onto the campus UNLESS each person has a ticket.
