MBB/WBB are top priorities at LSU for me.

But, truthfully, any of those choices would be great.
I do NOT want to see any SEC team win a NC except LSU.

UCLA or Georgia Tech can win it just NOT an SEC team.
OP has no sense to make that post and ask that question.

JJ is the best HC in college baseball.
It's great to be excited about LSUMBB again. But I will wait to see exactly who is eligible to play for LSU before I study the roster much.

Looking forward to November! Boot up!
Big park was not the major factor, IMO, of their success. They all threw mostly strikes.

Congrats.
LSU does not have frontage roads? What an asinine statement. Frontage roads are on limited access highways and LSU is not c lose to one of those.
Over time (1980s to 2027), MORE SEC teams take baseball seriously and LESS other conferences' teams take baseball seriously. IMO, it is a more regional sport than it once was.
My suggestion to folks who are "just asking" when JJ is gonna get on the hot seat and under what circumstances is this. Who could LSU get as HC in 2027 or 2028 who will win 2 more NC's for us? I do not see one coach out there in baseball who could guarantee winning 2 NC's in his first 4 seasons...NOT ONE.

I'll stick with JJ even if we do NOT make the CWS in the next 4 seasons.
And there is zero correlation between our Revenue Share and our wins in sports.

We have been there, to LSU-OM games, maybe 7 times. We always stay in Tupelo. Easy in and easy out and away from most traffic.
Crucial injuries, poor fielding, and a pitching staff that did not improve at all.

We'll be fine in 2027, IMO. Enjoy our misery now and maybe win something important yourself.
Gymnastics and WBB were fine all things considered. Those are BOTH highly attended sports at LSU.

LSU has the least effective pitching staff in the 2026 SEC.
2-4

State series ended our realistic hopes of making the NCAA.
Whoever wrote that list never lived here or at least did not drive much.
Until I see a healthy and effective quarterback running the LK offense in September, my expectations as to a good final record for LSU this season are not high.

I still think we will struggle to get to 9-3 for 2026. Just spending lots of money does not assure LSU of a CFP spot. We spent lots of money last season.
Hell, consider IGNORING anything coming from Ole Miss people. What those folks say, think, and do is not relevant to LSU or LSU fans.
No one past 1-2 people at LSU know what LSU is spending on NIL. It is NOT common knowledge and no media source has any idea how much it is.
Smartest move ever buying all that land for LSU.
