re: LSU enrollment

Texas is the second most populous state in the US. UT i Austin has limited space. Aggies have two separate campuses in College Station and could have 100K on campus and still have space.

Texas has two metro areas each with millions more than the entire state of Louisiana. Our state university is just not going to be as big as Texas' state universities.
In 2022 we could not beat an average F$U team nor could we beat a poor SoCal team in 2024. No reason to believe we can beat a good Clemson team at Clemson much less blow them out. I have to see us play well right out of the shoot and actually win a season opener before I can believe we will win one. I see us losing at Clemson maybe 24-27.

That being said, I think we can go on to do well and even finish 10-2 and make the CFPlayoff as a lower seed, maybe travel to Oregon and losing game #1.
The only sport my wife of 47 years really likes is LSU MBB and WBB. I have dragged her to LSU Football and LSU Baseball for decades, so the last LSU season tickets we'll give up when we can't go anymore will be MBB.

I will be hopeful CMM can do something with this new group...hopeful, but not any faith.
Close losses at Clemson, at Ole Miss, and at Bama. 9-3 then 10-3 with Fla bowl win.
I can assure folks that CJJ does NOT have an "open checkbook" to buy anyone he wants. I am pretty sure no college baseball HC has that. Generally does not happen in sports that hemorrhage millions of dollars like LSU Baseball. (Shortfall is going to around $3 million for this year.)
Arkansas is the higher seed so should be the home team Saturday.

CJJ said LSU did not raise the fences height when he was interviewed early in February.

Omaha is now solidly Democratic. Rest of Nebraska is solidly Republican.
We will catch them one of these years. The key is whether SoCal will take baseball seriously or not.

Saturday at 6pm if the schedule follows its usual pattern.
If Arizona can beat UNC, Arizona can beat LSU. In fact, any team in the CWS can beat LSU on a given day.

Just beat WVU!

I live in BR, about 10 miles east of Alex Box. It has rained twice at my house with lightning/thunder both times. Currently it is very dark and windy as if yet another storm is approaching.
Jay is not making the call. The on site NCAA rep makes the call.
1. LSU Baseball LOSES money. It lost about $1.9 million when last reported. It will lose even more money this season and even more in 2026.

2. LSUAD has already stated that it will "share" 80+% of its revenues (the money it is going to share) with football. MBB will get some and all others very little.

3. I would like to point out that most men's sports lose money at LSU so its just not women's sports that lose $$$.

All of a sudden WVU is piling up the hits.
Football players at LSU. Over 80% of the revenue sharing at LSU will go only to football players.
LOLOL. Your rinky-dink turf high school field helped cause your team to be AT HOME this weekend.
