re: Here is the ending of the basketball game

Sometimes when a player has to play all 40 minutes, tiredness when you stop to shoot ft's is a problem.

We only played six players. That is a tough situation.
re: What are the odds that LSU goes on a run and makes the playoffs?

Quit with the playoff talk at least with a 9-3 record. Too many nonSEC teams with better records this year.
I think we will finish 9-3 and that will be fine with me for this year.

IMO, Luis has no shot at getting eligible with the SEC.
I am hoping all the rest can play by November 3.

Takes awhile to build winning culture.
Or play an easy schedule. See Indiana 2024.

When you are forced to play first, should you consider going for TWO if you score a TD? I thought we should have gone for two at that point. Of course I thought we should have gone for the 4th and 1.

LSU at 7-2 in SEC will NOT make the SECCG.
re: Who else honestly had LSU @ 4-1 after 5 games.

Going as I thought it would. On our way to 9-3. Good start for the LK Era.

Would be a colossal blunder if the SEC does that.

Gonna be 7 players playing tonight although supposedly all 15 will be on the bench. It will be a tough deal for us with those limitations. But it is a game that does not count.
November 3rd is D Day for eligibility.

re: The new and improved Will Wade

I believe LSU MBB could not have made a better hire than Will Wade. And I have been going to games since Pete Maravich's freshman year when I was 14. Season tickets since 1976.
re: Will Wade: ‘NIL: Now It’s Legal.’ What a putz.
Posted by GeorgeWest on 10/7/26 at 9:14 pm to Bamaguy32
As a longtime LSU MBB season ticket holder (since 1976!) and fan, I am ecstatic that WW is back at LSU. He will have LSUMBB back in the NCAA Ty by 27-28. LSU has already sold more season tickets since he was last here as HC.

Smart way to handle past controversy...with effective humor.

No one seems to remember that Disney-ABC-ESPN stated plainly when they got the SEC contract that the 12 noon ET slot was one of their top 2 timeslots so as to compete with Fox.
We fans think that 6pm-7pm kickoffs are ALWAYS the best slot but our overlords do not.

Not nearly as much as Sloan hates LSU.

We have not won an SEC road game in awhile. Just beat UK!

re: So LSU basketball starts really soon and no one knows who is actually on the team and who

MBB season starts on Tuesday, November 3. The three "games" before that are scrimmages and do not count in any way.
I intend to watch the scrimmages and enjoy them for what they are.
This is Year One of a MAJOR rebuild in a year with very few quality players in the Portal. I do not expect much.

Thousands of student tickets do NOT go unused every Saturday. In our first three home games, at end of the 1Q, student section was packed.
