That’s actually pretty self-aware for a Clemson fan. I respect it.

Same. I’m very impressed with Baker and the defense but the playing not to lose play calling the last 2 drives, not kicking the field goal before halftime…..simply terrible. No other way around it.

How many games have you won as a coach? What I know is you like several others are either Les or Ogre fans.
Do you honestly think that was Kelly‘s choice? Do you think that he is actually calling the plays? I’m not sure how some of you actually think a football game like that is played out. Do you think that Garrett could’ve checked out of some of the run plays? Again the quarterback is also learning what to do and what not to do. His experience from last year taught him not to deviate from the run so quickly. The run game actually won that game yesterday. The only thing I was disappointed in were the receivers. I expected more out of them.
And I do think Kelly should’ve taken the points and not tried on 4th down.

Spslayto: Agree, that call made it look like the fix was on. Kind of made me think Dabo had taken over the Saban rein with the officiating crew. Sure hope the replay booth gets heavy fined or reprimanded for that call.

Amazing how many people are acting like he’s a great coach simply for holding onto a lead at the end of the game
A 1 score lead on the road against #4 Clemson for a full quarter?

Yeah, any dipshit coach can do that

But even they admit LSU was robbed of that touchdown. How can everyone see it but the replay? Especially when called a TD on the field.

I thought it was called down at the 1/2 yd line

They'll probably be happy in 10-12 weeks after they boat race their BS ACC schedule.

Score should’ve been 31-10 at that time. CBK did good except at end of 1st half. Gotta work on that this week. You have a very good D now coach. Don’t be afraid to take some points.

Media pumped them up so hard this offseason they started to believe it.

Which is why I was ok with the media underselling LSU.

Believing in yourself without solid reason leads to disappointment. That game last night gave us reason to have high expectations.

They were gifted plenty of calls by the officials, especially that botched no touchdown ruling.

"Playing not to lose"? It's called using the clock & playing smart football when your team has the lead late & your defense is playing lights out. Miles & O were ripped, rightfully so, for poor clock management late in games. Coach Kelly did exactly what any good coach would have done, successfully. A victory on the road against the # 3 team in the country that should have been a 17 point win & this is what stands out to you two? Go hang out on the bama & Texas boards if you want good company.

The calls that were inexcusable were the missed grounding calls while Clemson was backed up and the overturned touchdown. That makes it 24-10 if not worse, and the stats show lsu dominated the game. Watching it you could see that lsu was the better team and Clemson was fortunate to hang around. Good to get out of that stadium with a win.

Junior? lol. Been around this board longer than most (not you but most). I can remember when the OT was a little wild, wild, west.

Well that's dumb, and you might be dumb.

One of the reasons we're supposed to think Kelly is a bad coach is his record against top 5 opponents. So he beats one on the road and you think that makes him worse?

I knew you Kelly haters fed on mostly emotion, but this is just feminine behavior.

The reality is if they played in the SEC they would be a 7-5 6-6 team at best.

I’ve been reading some of their fans analysis and it’s some of the most fair and accurate I have ever seen on a college board after a loss.
