It’s not a full one year deal, contract runs to end of this year, so basically 7 months. So it’s $100k for 7 months or a little more than $170k per year. More salary coming in Jan 27 if he delivers value and is focused on football.

Good bargain for LSU but the $17 million buyout was not.
Contract is till end of year so it’s almost $200k per year and since we just finished a $17 million buyout in December he should be fine.
If he is committed and can stay focused he will get a new contract in January.
I expect good throws from Ruckert who projects as a starting shortstop. I know he’s young but accurate throws are instinct for elite infielders.
BMTiger: just the opposite, he was pinch hitting the bottom of the lineup to give us a fighting chance. Go check the batting average for the game for the bottom half. We severely missed Serena and Brown in the lineup.
SECCaptain: share your picture and your wife’s picture. She must be gorgeous if she looks better than Livy Dunne.
Very well could have, did you see the low batting averages that OU had in there lineup. Their batting averages were much lower than LSU line up. We almost let those sub .200 batters beat us.
WAC13; I agree coaches don’t throw the pitch but they do call the pitch location and type of pitch. My concern is if Yeskie is considering the pitchers execution before calling next pitch?
Has Yeskie lost his touch?
I support the idea that pitcher should be required to face a minimum number of batters.
Ballhawk: totally agree, it’s pro sports with college jerseys played on campus. Just hate what NiL and uncontrolled transfer portal has done to college athletes.
304tiger: agree but this is the same thing we said last year.

Might be the motivation that the team needs, who will step up?
Would love to she her attend LSU and make another big step up in her development. Shaq….bring her home!
Agree changes are coming. Not saying that anyone needs to be fired but we need change is training, strategy, analytics and just getting back to basics! May be add a few assistants, consultants or specialized support staff.
The list needs more names and we need more “gone” as the status update.

“Get shite done” - yep they very good at giving away our tax money and increasing the size of government.

I’ll take the smaller Republican government.
AUstar: go back and look at market! I’m at a record high, if your not find a new investment firm or financial planner.
Agree we have multiple issues and we are just not good enough to overcome any of these mishaps. Very disappointed in our pitchers and our pitch calling strategy. A new strategy and pitch call/location strategy needed. After that the pitchers need to execute. I have never seen so many wild pitches, passed balls and inability to make a full count strike.
But we have 4 coaches with HC experience.
Tigergoose77;
May be your right, Arambide hits 4 home runs as DH.

York needs to reflect, work on his defense. No focus?
