Conferences might be successful in court when it doesn’t involve voting on new rules that are intended to defy a court order. A court in Alaska would be pissed about that, regardless of the circumstances.

I'm not stuck on this. We don't need them. I'm simply pointing out why some of yall are so desperate to get them on the team.

when the SCOTUS and colorado ruling gives us precedent.
Not sure what SCOTUS ruling you’re talking about but the CO case is in limbo now pending an appeal that may not come until after the season starts. But yes, the LA case came as a result of that one because the CO case made 2022 athletes eligible but still kept the rest of the rules in place. Only the individual cases are granting temporary eligibility right now and with no rules. That’s why a lot of people don’t like it.

They dont care about the college aspect, they dont care that the players have little connection the LSU.
70% or more of the fanbase feel this way.
Even those of that 70% that live happy, fulfilled lives like myself. I dont root for LSU to lose. Winning is the objective is it not?
Fun fact, not one of our 3 modern championships were won while running a squeaky clean program. Where do you think Saban learned to cheat? Les has documented infractions and Coach O is Coach O.
Our most beloved son Burrow still claims LSU and OSU. Our most recent Heisman winner sent the school a cease and desist over a jersey number. So much for connections to the school.
Academics? You think these kids go to class? Some can't form sentences while speaking much less writing. Yet most can't remember the last player we had that was ruled academically ineligible.

You “the juice isn’t worth the squeeze” folks are morons.
Not only that, but they are too illiterate to understand that the SEC has show cause.
Meaning that they have been called to the Louisiana court session to explain why they are already not in contempt of court.
They aren't there in some last ditch.. big money.. whatever. They are now their to protect their own arse for the punishments policy in the first place.

They can fight it all they want, but it looks like so far every court room this type of case has been heard the players win. I don't see that changing as precedent has been set
I just don't see how they, the NCAA or the SEC, can pick and choose here.

Does sankey have to show up. Or can he just send lawyers?
Skankey is too much of a coward to show up at a Baton Rouge Court…

They were always going to fight. When they said they would comply they just meant with the TRO. That never meant they weren’t going to present their argument in court.

Will they redeclare Chambliss ineligible due to the new 5 for 5 rule? His illness doesn’t matter under the new rules.
Either they enforce it for every school or none of them.
They can't selectively enforce against us and let Texas, Mizzou, Ole Miss, etc. get away with it.
